Swaybar disconnect replacement lead time

So I have a 2022 Badlands with the automatic swaybar disconnect, it had an error around middle of June leading to it needing to be replaced. The shop has been all shoulder shrugs on when this thing will be delivered and replaced. In the meantime time I can't really use my Bronco more than just getting around town. This has really put a damper on the summer and a few trips I had planned.

Any idea on when these part come in or is luck of the draw?


Edit:9/3 Dealer has since had the part delivered and scheduled service thanks for all of the insights. Also I know how people feel about dealers free work and warranty work I rather have done by them everything else my personal mechanic

Why can't you use your Bronco off-road? The sway bar disconnect is just frosting on the cake of a very capable machine.

The system is all connected to the computer. Since the Sway bar is disconnected permanently i get an alarm on the system that says service now and handicapps the entire car in safe mode.

If you spend a few hours looking online you can find a used replacement for $100 like I did

Its actually still covered under the warranty so price isn't an issue also why I rather just them replace it

There’s currently 65 available in the country. No reason they shouldn’t already have one.

There was also a TSB on a fix. They have to dielectric grease the connection after cleaning or something like that. I had it done on my 2023 and it has been fine since.

In the meantime, If you have a cable and Forscan lite on your phone, and you clear the DTCs on your CHCM module and get rid of the message getting full function back until the next time the swaybar event happens, At least on mine I get that error every once in a while for "Low Pressure" and reset it..

Mine just got replaced last weekend because it was leaking. Dropped it off on Friday, dealer ordered the part and had it repaired by Tuesday afternoon

$2600 ($2,100 parts $500 labor)

but dealer was able to get it reduced down to about $900 since I was so close to being out of warranty

I had to wait about 6 weeks for the part to come in, but at the time they truly were not available nationwide.

At the time @Ducati1098 confirmed my dealers statements of non availability as well as an eta date which he was right on about.

Push your dealer, let them know that you are aware units are available or go to a different dealer.

Dealer had it delivered last week forgot to call me due to the holiday. Bronco is going in this Friday for the swap.
