I seldom get past 5th when around town (surface streets). But use 6th all the time when on the freeway. In Phoenix can't go very far without taking a freeway.
I can see how someone on the east coast would find little use for 6th, but once you get west of the Mississippi you'll use 6th anytime...
I've ordered from Tasca with good results. But since I'm in Arizona, I save on shipping when I order from these guys. They're in Las Vegas. Phone support was good when I had a question, but you have to order from their website to get the best price. You need to know the right part number if...
I have the same problem. It only happens when I signal for a right turn, then let the steering wheel spin back to center. It doesn't happen when making a left turn, but then I'm not cranking the wheel as far over.
There's either a weak spring or a detent not shaped correctly in the turn signal...
I learned to drive in an old Ford F-100 with a manual. I learned to take off on a hill without rolling back and without using the parking brake. The parking brake was foot activated. My father wouldn't let me get a license until I could do that (among other things like backing up). Just feather...
I've been trying to find a way to completely black out my Bronco. I'm an amateur astronomer. It's very bad form to display any white light until everyone is packing to leave. My Bronco won't cooperate. Some lights always come on when I open a door.
According to page 92 of the 2023 owner's manual you can test if the doors are locked. Just immediately pull on the handle after touching the lock sensor. It works on my Bronco. I just discovered this today. Before today I was trying to grip the handle without unlocking.
2dr, more maneuverable, looks better (in my opinion), back seat access worse than a 1960s VW Beetle so only useful for 2 adults, small gas tank, less storage, rougher ride on highway.
4dr, less maneuverable, usable back seat so can carry 5 adults, more storage, larger gas tank and smoother ride...
You might want to use the Pax Rax rating as a guide. They're rated at 70 lb a side. Your mount looks stronger, but it doesn't have as good support at the bottom. Of course the kind of driving you plan on doing is also a factor.
That makes sense. I can't think of any mechanical reason it wouldn't work in any Bronco. Just Ford doesn't want to take the time to figure out the software.
From the Ford website.
"Requires Ford Pro-Cal 4 to program and configure the steering gear.
Note: Pro-Cal 4 needs to be connected to the vehicle before the original steering rack is removed to be able to properly configure and program the new steering gear.
Exclusions: 2021-2023 Bronco 4Dr...
Many years ago I was heavily involved in slot cars. Remember them? We tried all kinds of different gears. Longest lasting was a brass pinion gear with a nylon axle gear. The combination was also self lubricating. They lasted unless your car went into a wall. Then few teeth would break off the...
I just ordered some black gaffer tape to help me isolate wind noise. My Bronco got louder after I removed my hard top to install the TrailRax Pax Rax. I know some noise is from the rack. But I think my left rear window is also making more noise.
Now you just need to keep the Borg from wondering why you're hiding. ;) Attempting to not stand out can make you conspicuous.
I'm not saying you're wrong. Just saying you need to look more generic.
My TV and Blu-ray player don't know the internet exists. When I broke down and bought a...
Looking at the 2022 owner's manual. It looks like F35 may be a spare 5A micro2 fuse.
I'd try a micro2 fuse as Ogre suggested before cutting the prong. But then I'm lazy.
