They've been focusing a lot more heavily on it lately because of OTA updates. Last thing they want/need is someone being able to easily hack into the vehicle.
Took 3 years to crack the C8 corvette ECU, and a lot more people cared about doing that.
Far less demand for Bronco, so it'll probably be a lot longer.
The bellhousing is part of the transmission case. So unless you're going to design a whole custom transmission case, the only other option would be an adapter plate. Either way it would probably be a ton of money
Yeah just port injectors. Swapped to OEM ones from a 3.5 ecoboost. Just about to finish up the 93 tune, then the E85 tune will tell us if that was enough or not.
You just need to make sure to tell them not to perform any updates on those modules. You may also want to disable automatic updates because who knows if/when Ford will release any OTA software for the DDM/PDM.
Adjusting the windows manually won’t require any software updates in most cases...
Most noises are on 2.7/3.0 with the electronic brake booster. It’s constantly clicking and clunking when shutting down. Even after 10-15 minutes It’s normal. There are also other things going through random start up/shut down cycles like the throttle body.
No, just order one at your dealerships parts department. Other than OBX, FE and 21 wildtrak all Broncos come with regular black plastic handles.
