Procal4 can disable Auto Start/Stop?

Hi All,

I read that you can disable engine auto start/stop with the pro cal tuner but I have no clue how to do that? Is there a setting somewhere I am missing?

What’s so hard or inconvenient to press the AS/start button that is right there by the bronco starting button
Every time you get in and start bronco just press the AS/S

Updating the Procal won't do anything by itself. You'd have to program the latest firmware to your Bronco.

The feature procal tune added was just to make the bronco remember the button's last setting instead of resetting when you start the vehicle. It didn't fully disable or remove start stop. I'd be really surprised if they removed that feature...

Just got the Ford ProCal tune installed at my local dealership (July 8th 2025). I got the tuner from Lethal Performance on a sale. My Auto Start Stop remembers it's state now. This is on a 23 2dr Outer Banks Lux 2.7.

With the AutoStart feature now indicated can be deactivated.
I was pondering if ProCal 4 would once again include a setting to remain on the last state ON/Off.

Then saw the above post July 2025... I'm wondering if Procal 4 was updated and retained the feature or Shop didn't update and it was old firmware?

I was entertaining purchasing the AutoStop Eliminator hardware device, but was holding off to see if it was addressed in new ProCal 4 firmware.

Nothing has changed. It still won’t work for some Broncos.
Anytime a procal is installed, it automatically installs the latest update for that vehicle.
Some older Broncos it will still remember the last setting, newer ones (sometime around 23MY+) it will not.
