Disable Auto Start Stop on 2024 Bronco ?

I sure would like a hack that allows always starting in sport mode. Why should I be forced to mess with buttons/dials to have my vehicle do what I want, it's just a little aggravation I don't need.

When I start mine (after being in Sport), the screen asks me to answer Yes or No to Return to Sport Mode? I answer Yes and don't HAVE to fiddle with the modes, but I still have to press the 2A button versus it going into 4A. When I watch the power distribution screen, it shows power going to all 4 wheels in 4A, which must reduce the fuel mileage.

Has anyone successfully disabled auto start stop in a 2024. I've used Forscan to make changes on my 2024, but I'm not able to get the auto stop start modification to work. Any suggestions?

Hey good news! I was able to turn off the start stop in forscan as well as turn off the double honk. In order to do the start stop you have to go into the PSCM rather than the BCMC. The BCMC has a start stop setting but that one is not the right one to disable. The one in the PSCM worked for me. Just letting you know that in case yours didn’t work because you turned it off in the BCMC. Running version 2.3.59 2024 badlands.

Thanks again for all the feedback. I'd also like to turn off the seat belt reminders so I'm thinking if the ProCal device is capable of doing both, I'd go that route as opposed to spending money on the eliminator device. Can anyone comment on ProCal device being able to disable the both A.S.S and the Seat Belt Reminders for MY 2024?

forscan can do the seatbelt minders, double honk elimination, global windows up, bambi mode, add goat modes, etc... just not the auto stop/start. I did it with my 24 big bend.

Any update to this auto start stop issues? Hoping Forscan updates and can solve this.. 2024 Badlands and the auto stop under PSCM doesn't seem to do anything. There is another auto-stop but it disables the battery monitoring and triggers a warning light.

Does this mean you cannot change the ASS on 24s with FORSCAN or you cannot use FORSCAN to change anything on a 24?

I was about to dive into FORSCAN but maybe I should hold off.

Well that makes me feel better - that was the only thing I couldn't get Forscan to do.

Just curious - any idea why/how? Did Ford intentionally made it more difficult to eliminate for emissions reasons? Or is it something else?

Just a programming change they made. I don’t think it had anything to do with people using forscan to disable it.

I read in the Ranger forum that Forscan fixed the ability to disable ASS in the latest beta version (2.3.66) - so there is hope for our Broncos. Has anyone tried the new beta version or does anyone have any other info? I just got a Bronco and i'm waiting on this to see if I can avoid modifying the switch.

I'm not sure what version I have - will try to look tonight. I'll give it another shot if there's a new version. Would love to be able to disable it.

Unlikely, it hasn't worked since 2022.

I have a 23 and it worked I think up until later in 2023? I bought mine in August and still have no ASS ( ), but please don't update my ProCal!!
