We're looking into buying a Can-Am and the one we found is a 2 seater at 1,680lbs. I have a 2024 4 door Wildtrak with the towing package already installed (stock height and tires)

Can-am measures 11ft x 72"w.

Anyone else towing similar and what trailer do you recommend? I'm finding it difficult to settle on a trailer.

High Country Trailers, or... really any trailer made by Alcom (they have several brands under their name). Aluminum so they're light weight, and will easily fit within the Bronco's tow limit with the Can-Am.

The only problem is... I don't think they have any dealers in the southwest. So if you are in Arizona, may have to travel to find one.

Hello, I have a 2 seater can am x3. Towing with a 2 door badlands sasquatch. I'm using a Big Tex 60pi 14ft x 77In tandem axel. SXS and trailer weigh 3200lbs. It tows fine. I installed my own tow package, receiver, hitch, 4 and 7 pin, brake controller.

How is your squat? I was debating between a tandem or single.

Regularly pulled an Rmax with my Taco/Bronco. You have no need for a tandem axle with Broncos towing capacity. If you get correct hitch/coupler height you shouldn’t have to worry about squat. Trailer brakes also not really necessary at sub 4000lb weight IMO. Get a 6x12 single axle, mount e-tracks along the deck at width of atv wheels and use tire ratchet straps on all 4 corners - best, fastest, and easiest way to do it. I prefer no sides on toy hauler trailers but sides r obviously nice if u wanna use it for yard work etc too. Go with aluminum instead of steel if you want it to stay looking nice over time.

Check Tractor Supply, Lowe's and Home Depot, they carry some aluminum trailers. I got mine at Tractor Supply and I have carry some good size loads behind my Bronco OBX.

It definitely squats. I bought the super springs sumo springs that go in-between the coils, which helped.
Other guy said 6X12, you said yours is 72 wide.
I went tandem and 14 ft for better stability being 2 dr shorter wheel base, and to have room to position sxs to get tongue weight where I want it.

Having owned many trailers over the last 50+ years and currently owning 4 high-quality trailers, I would suggest “buy once, cry once”.

You’ll never be sorry for purchasing a high-quality (in your case) 14’ tandem axle trailer with brakes. That will provide additional stability and safety while also affording you the additional room and capacity for extra items and growth in the future. The additional length also allows you to move the load forward or back in order to properly adjust tongue weight.

Trailers are not unlike gun safes, if you have 12 firearms don’t purchase a safe that holds 12, buy a safe that holds 30. LOL

You won’t find a high-quality trailer at a big box store.

Good luck...

.

Off road the Bronco. SxS is a depreciation king... Quickest way to throw away money. We had one for a couple years. So glad to off road the Bronco: quiet, less dust, way better mpg (off road), less maintenance, less hassle (towing, storage, servicing). Make sure you review the maintenance requirements and costs. They need work every few hundred miles (if you want them to last).

Brake controller is a good ideal. :)

I don’t disagree with your sentiment. I would say a nice tandem axle trailer is going to tare almost half your hauling weight though. Just something to keep in mind.

But there is no substitute for a good trailer - they last decades and across multiple vehicles, and the last nice trailer I had I netted a profit when I sold it from buying new (20’ flatbed- was too big to haul with the Bronco)

FYI, I took both our Bronco and SxS (which is on portals) to an offroad park this weekend to decide if we’re keeping the SxS or not. Ended up enjoying the Bronco so much, the RZR is going up for sale. And yes side by sides need lots of maintenance, at least ours did. I just put a new front diff in it and had to rebuild the engine last year. They eat axles and ball joints too. And belts lol.

I prefer a tilt bed over ramps, and you probably would too if you have ever used one. These are well made with Dexter axles. They have dealers all over the US. No matter what you decide on, get one with electric brakes and install the Bronco Ebrake controller kit from Ford. Easy to do yourself! I haul 2 Honda Rincons or sometimes a JD 60" lawn tractor. It's a pleasure to tow!

I recommend a tandem axle aluminum setup. this little trailer only weighs 950lbs and can haul 4500lbs. I bought it to haul my airplane, but use it for all kinds of things.
This one is "Mission" brand.

GET THE TANDEM, and thank me later.
Single axle trailers are snakes. Backing up is 200% easier and road control is much better. One brake axle, although I prefer two, is sufficient with your weight.
