  1. 2.3 vs. 2.7 vs. 3.0 engines after 100K miles (wear & tear assessment via teardowns)

I agree, but the tiny bronco engine bay makes it a twin turbo inferno under the hood. 2.3 just packages better in that small engine bay.
  2. Mullet Bronco Build

You need to watch how the vehicle acts as you load up the suspension while crawling. Short link allow the geometry to change making rear lift instead of squat. Nose down the rear suspension will uncompress making it very tippy. I think you already have experienced this on the previous setup.
  3. Mullet Bronco Build

@popo_patty Stickercon 2026 is going to epic, make sure to bring plenty of goo-gone. @SierraBronco I am still surprised you haven't reworked the trailing arm setup yet. Might wheel better with less rear travel as it will have less rear steer and more control placing rear tires.
  4. Anybody buying motor oil in bulk?

I probably have 5-10 gallons of used motor oil if that counts? Really hard to find places locally that take anything more than a gallon at a time.
  5. TPMS Module not picking up sensor

@Ducati1098 rotate the tires, pull the battery and the drivers rear doesn't read after reset. Lost it while driving on the freeway in 110F heat two weeks ago. Going to pull the plastic tomorrow and get the part number as I see there are 2 different options. No codes, so it has be a internal...
  6. TPMS Module not picking up sensor

@Ducati1098 now that really throws a wrench in my thinking that I was obstructing the signal some how? Must be the module as I can't get a reading off drivers rear no matter how I rotate the tires.
  7. TPMS Module not picking up sensor

Anyone know where the TPMS detection module is? Google says behind passenger rear panel? @Ducati1098 got a magic diagram? Trouble shooting a tire pressure sensor not reading and it's definitely not the in tire sensor. I think it might be my giant metal rear tub. Might need to relocate the...

  10. Warranty? Ford dealer said won’t cover bc rusted

Cut the really bad thread off, clean up with a triangle file and throw a new nut on with loctite. All that nut does is retain the CV in the flange, really has no load on it.
  11. M210 did I get the right CV Axle, Rebuilder Bronco

Because lockers have an offset spider gears due to the locking mechanism.
  12. 1” Lift Kit

Front is 1.5 times so 1" spacer will get you 1.5" liftand the rear is pretty much 1" for 1". Zone makes a few space/perch collar lifts that have the correct size pucks. @GI_Jo_Nathan beat me to it... I would strongly look at 5100s or 6100s Bilstein shocks for what you want, factory shocks do...
  13. M210 did I get the right CV Axle, Rebuilder Bronco

So if I kill them in 5k miles will you replace them? Do you sell inners separately? Rebuild kits? Do I have to mail them back for warranty?
  15. M210 did I get the right CV Axle, Rebuilder Bronco

13 1/2" for a M210 which is the cast iron front model.
  16. AFE Sway-A-Way 2.5 Coilovers

As suspected, sway away sold off. Betts is out of Fresno, I had a high school buddy who use to work there and would sell the reject lowering springs. Small world...
  17. AFE Sway-A-Way 2.5 Coilovers

I wouldn't buy sway away, its all about after service and @AccuTune Offroad is King right now. Lot of companies make shocks but few are really investing the time into a specific platform.
  18. 5 Star Cooking while over-landing …

@popo_patty is an expert on making toasted sandwiches, not like he doesn't pack a whole kitchen.
  19. Seeking Feedback Pros/Cons from Those Running an Ultimate Dana 60?

The biggest draw back is you are no longer off the shelf parts. Same deal as portals, you are limiting who you get parts from and increasing down time.
