  2. Is it the glass... or the windshield angle?

CJ5 with CJ7 glass body, scout 44s, np435 and AMC 304... Nothing says jeep, like nothing being jeep and being towed home...
  3. Is it the glass... or the windshield angle?

How many ended up upsidedown? My CJ rear axle was always trying to pass the front end.
  4. Is it the glass... or the windshield angle?

I don't prefer it... window insurance does lol.
  5. Is it the glass... or the windshield angle?

Bronco is currently crack free, jeep has a 1" spider crack rock chip. Mostly angle from my experience, you hear the rocks hit the F150 all the time and in 10 years its on its second window. From my personal experience the off brand windshield last longer. Every time I splurge on factory glass...
  6. Exploded Steering Rack

Because they came from Broncbuster and he went under.
  7. Tires, Camber, UCAs, and wear

Was a 2"x2" digital one with a magnet base. It read to the hundredth till I melted it it welding my trunk box.
  8. Exploded Steering Rack

Rack programming with FDRS is based on the Vehicles Vin so It would load the correct software and install it. Pretty easy as long as FDRS servers are not down.
  9. Tires, Camber, UCAs, and wear

@87-Z28 I shoot for zero on my gauge. More tire kick out helps with tracking from my experience.
  10. Camburg Long-Travel Lower Arms

I hit your customer service up in January of 2024 about the kit. Now I am no longer interested in being the first one. The kit looks nice but I have absolutely no clue if it would hold up to years of abuse. Go take that pretty bronco through some rock gardens and test those lower control arms. I...
  11. Exploded Steering Rack

You need FDRS and just to program the rack. Since it was factory, Ford software should work just fine. 2-3 hours to install, program and then an alignment.
  12. Tires, Camber, UCAs, and wear

I set my camber with a digital gauge from harbor freight. Eyeball my alignment and adjust it as needed based on tire wear. 99% of alignment places have no clue what they are doing besides making the computer number green.
  13. Snacktime's Tie rod collection update

I think a lot of it comes from me slow rolling into obstacles, giving it a bump. I went through more steering parts than others when I was wheeling Toyotas. California is a lot of rock gardens which is just hard on IFS parts. You're like the 3rd person to bring those up. I like the idea of...
  14. Snacktime's Tie rod collection update

I just need to stop bumping it over obstacles...
  15. Which Portals Are Right For You? (Satire)

Can I get a set for my 17s? Boy do I miss pimp my ride!
  16. Snacktime's Tie rod collection update

Well yesterday was a busy day of warranty requests after swapping out my last spare tie rod on Sunday! Rough Country just sent me out a 3rd set under warranty! Currently what I am running and been pretty happy with them. They last about 2 oil changes before developing enough play in the inner...
  17. Anyone switch to the Power stop brake kit notice a reduction in brake fade?

I stalled power stop on my F150 and another brand on my Ram. Neither was a huge improvement, just regular maintenance items at the time. I would definitely buy a kit again, power stops are still going strong 6 years latter and lots of life left. Solid product!
  18. Which Portals Are Right For You? (Satire)

Keep it rolling! Still waiting for someone to hit some sweet jumps with off the shelf portals!
  19. Which Portals Are Right For You? (Satire)

I have had this talk with a few other people but you can reliably run 37s on a Bronco. The parts last long enough to say it's reasonably doable. This whole portal and 40 things is the first step towards a trailer rig. Parts just don't last long enough to call it reasonable. What are you at...
