Do you happen to have or remember the torque specs for the pan bolts and the filter bolts? Those pages won't load from the service manual that was posted here on B6G. Only the drain/refill section loads and that only gives the fluid fill plug spec (35 lbs. if anyone needs it).

Better yet anyone have the transmission pages from the service manual?

thank you for the information. I will be getting the PPE pan and doing this swap. I'm at 40k miles and want to change the fluid and be able to do so on a more regular basis.

Here are the torque specs and the torque sequence from PPE:

If anyone is interested, I have a NIB deep Mishimoto pan for sale on the forum. Received a PPE pan for Christmas after buying a Mishimoto.

I finally did mine a few weeks back. Word to the wise this is fairly messy even if you vacuum out everything in the pan prior to dropping in completely. Also, the proper tools go along way in filling it back up, checking level, adding more, or removing some as needed. The filter probably didn't need changing but as long as your going through the hassle it is an easy additional step. It is not that bad but does require more patience and attention to detail than an oil change.

FYI, I did it 28K. Was not much on the magnet but definitely some break-in wear for sure. Also did a sort of poor man's flush and before dropping the pan I sucked out almost 6 qts. of fluid, replaced it, drove it to get it to temp and circulate the new fluid, and then drained it again and replaced the pan and filter. That way I knew I had nearly all fresh fluid in there. Cost a little extra but I'm only doing that once after break-in. My plan is +/- every 4th oil change to dump and pump new fluid depending on my driving conditions.

Needs be at operating temperature (206-215) running in park to check it correctly.
Level on the dipstick should be between the 3 and 4

Hi. Is the fill level identical in the Raptor? Thanks.

@Ducati1098 - is the removal of the transmission fluid heat exchanger tubes necessary because they are in the way of the pan bolts or?

Kind of both. Since the exhaust is underneath the rear of the pan, the lines get in the way of moving the pan forward and down. But they also may be blocking a few of the bolts. They don’t need to be removed completely, just slightly adjusted out of the way.

Ah, so no need to worry about replacing the o-rings because you do not detach the lines? Just want to be sure in case I need to order some.

Correct. No need to replace the O-rings. I have over 10,000 miles since the pan installation and no leaks.

No, they’re completely reusable. You do detach the lines, but they just get popped out of the side of the case and the lines moved aside.
If for some reason you’d like to replace them, or if they potentially get damaged, the part number is 7L1Z-7J227-A, but I’ve never replaced a single set or had an issue reusing them.
