Hello all,

I know many of you have installed the PPE aluminum pan. PPE manufacturers a standard and deep pan. I wanted to install the deep pan but, looking under my badlands I am concerned about clearance with the sway bar disconnect motor. Will the PPE deep pan fit without clearance issues or should I go with the standard pan? Does anyone have pictures of a deep pan installed on a badlands?

thanks in advance and have a good day!

There you go. It's amazing what a 2 second google search will turn up.

That appears to be a non-disconnecting swaybar - a 2-second Google search of the visible part number turns that up - and therefore not applicable to the OP's question at all.

Given that the disconnecting swaybay in a badlands is even further away from the transmission pan than the non disconnecting sway bay. Yes it is applicable.
If it fits with the non disconnecting bar it will absolutely fit with the sway bar that is further AWAY from the pan.

Then why not post a Badlands picture? Looking at my swaybar, a fixed swaybar, and the wrong pic you sent, the motor looks like it would definitely conflict.
Might need someone who actually has both parts to chime in.

Maybe 2 seconds reading my question and using your brain would reveal that the picture you show is a non disconnect sway bar. I’ve already seen that picture on the PPE website.

Jesus Christ. Since you don't have a disconnecting sway bar and I do let me explain it to you again. If it fits with a non disconnecting sway bar which is CLOSER to the pan (which I showed a picture to prove this). Then it will fit with the bar that is FURTHER AWAY from the pan.

The bar itself is a bit further but, it’s the big chunky motor connected to it that is what’s causing my concern. Would be helpful if someone with a badlands had a picture of this pan installed.

I have a 2.7 badlands and out the PPE deep pan on it. You just drop the sway bay a bit., unhook the electrical and 4 bolts. No clearance issues with the disconnecting sway bar. The tighter fit is between the exhaust pipe cross over, But thats not much of a problem...

Sigh*
Mine is covered with next venture skidplates which I am not going to remove to take a picture. Also I have the Mishimoto pan and not the PPE pan, but they are very similar in dimensions. It fits just fine but I can see you will not be satisfied until you have a picture of it sitting on your face.
Good luck.

As you can see here. The sway bar is a bit more forward but, the motor appears to be the issue. I see some others have stated they have this pan installed with the disconnecting sway bar. Appreciate the input from everyone.
