I saved the too tall for the garage issue by installing my portals upside down. Bam! Fits every time!

Logic dictates you'd go underground with upside-down portals. Not a big deal! Just gotta budget for some sweet lights so you can see ok down there. Might up the budget a few thousand. Man, you guys really have some cool rides!

We did have fun with that repair though. AND I got to drive wifey’s bronco offroad. There wasn’t enough room for his camping stuff and the new upright wouldn’t be showing up until the morning, so he hiked to camp with me, we unloaded our bronco, swapped our steering rack as a preventive measure since it threw some codes and was making a clicking noise, then I drove back up to the broken hugsy bronco to get all his gear while wifey set up camp and took care of the dogs.

The hardest part of the repair was getting the tire back on. We had to do some…creative…things with our bottle jack to make it happen.

Just thought I would mention... I got a bottle jack that has all kinds of extensions. So far I am impressed. May turn out to be crap but it seems pretty well built. It packs away in a really small nice little bag. Made in China but what isn't anymore... Just somethin to think about.

Same company sells a mini little traction board for a stand.... and I am looking at their "folding" traction boards.

I just needed the extra height for when all I can find is broken rocks that you left behind.

Just thought I would mention... I got a bottle jack that has all kinds of extensions. So far I am impressed. May turn out to be crap but it seems pretty well built. It packs away in a really small nice little bag. Made in China but what isn't anymore... Just somethin to think about.

This little bottle jack is a beast. Lifted a container like nothing that we couldn't get up with 2 4-ton high lifts.
