Not only the prebuilt.... they removed the rack housing completely. Only selling the end cap now.

Well, I’ll tell yah. I have a 22 wild track so I put that 74 weld stage one on there. It seems fine. I have asfir tie rod braces, which to me looks like BroncBuster, but I guess the guys at BroncBuster got pissed off about and threatened some sort of lawsuit or whatever around proprietary equipment so those things don’t exist but anyway, they’re one mine. I got 37 inch or whatever inch they are BFGKM3’s that have been put through it but still have some pretty decent grip, they’re hard but they feel all right. I usually air them down to around 12 psi where I wheel. I’ve got steel skids from RCI all over the place, shock skids transmission whatever all that stuff, I’ve got the OEM skids for the engine, which I guess are ok, seem fine, I don’t know. They’ve held up. I have about a 3” lIft might be less, I don’t know, but it’s the eibach coil over set up with the HD springs which helps in a few cases. I think the amount of shit I gotta haul around most of the time, like my wife who’s 430 pounds. Trying to think.. I got a hidden winch, that whole set up from Hammer built which is really nice. I’ve used it about four times in the last, I guess six months since I’ve had it? It works really well. I’d highly recommend it if you can afford it (not necessary obviously). But yeah RCI all around underneath 37’s, 3 inch lift over the Sasquatch height, feels pretty good. I ride a lot about an hour from here in. Uwharrie national Forest and up in the mountains of North Carolina. Just want to bounce over check out what’s going on over there, so I don’t really care about getting in a lot of trouble. Coalmont? I’m willing to scrape the thing over some rocks. Just want to learn a little bit and have some fun.

You were duked by marketing and something that wasn’t really a problem in the grand scheme of things. I don’t think 74 weld will do much and good luck in getting a refund.
The idea of using a billet housing but not engineering new internals to handle the added stress, what could go wrong? I’m no engineer but that’s moving the problem to elsewhere.

I did at one point try to give the 2.0 rack away, but thankfully I still have that in case something goes wrong. I don't think it was a nothing burger (Ford did make an effort to put the 3.0 in several models over time), but perhaps, y'know, not worth the literal thousands spent on a "one-time" fix for sure. Tie-rods or die!
