I would have guessed some aftermarket supplier has gotten around to offering a (relatively) easy and inexpensive (when compared) bracket lift kit for the 6g Bronco for those who want big tires and look but are not going to rock craw it in any real way such as the OP...does this not exist?
BRaptor is not a comparable because it is running a mid arm suspension from the factory. Very different dimensionally. Stock it is designed to run a 37 and then you lifted that by 2.5 inches and that is questioned because we do not know if the 2.5 was at shock length or was it after the arms are taken into account.I've been on 40s for the past year without any issues so far. I upgraded the tie rod right away, but that's all and I've been on a number of trails. I only have a 2" hyperco spring and I don't rub except a little bit here and there. I assume the Raptor sits up higher to begin with, but for what it's worth.
No finagling for 37’s they fit great.Nope. Three-inch lift won't do it by itself. You'll need some "trimming". (not to mention some other stuff). The highest I would go on stock SAS would be 37s (and that will need some finagling).
So much fake news. 37’s on stock sas are good for everything other than major rock climbing with ridiculous flex. And mall crawling coffee shoes etc…Allow me to address this please.... I would have guessed some aftermarket supplier has gotten around to offering a(relatively) easy and inexpensive (when compared)bracket lift kit for the 6g Bronco for those who want big tires and look. I believe we "may" have an answer here.
To be serious thou: 37's can be run by some on SAS rims and suspension. This assumes the toughest terrain the bronco will see is the Starbucks drive-thru. Perch collars are the next step up and are good for (Springsteen quote here "the fire roads to the interstate"). Springs and coil overs are next and if I had enough suspension knowledge to intelligently comment on that setup, I wouldn't be stuck in a quagmire of a built Badlands or a Raptor.
There are some videos of a person in Texas who is running 40's if you google it. I would imagine it's expensive and a fair amount of work.
Agree, with a 2.5 to 3 inch 37s should fit fine. You have picture proof. I have seen it many times. It works well.No finagling for 37’s they fit great.

Now that is interesting because I would absolutely think at stock you would rub and full compression... Maybe not as long as you did the high clearance kit....Yeah this is stock sas no additional lift
Nothing other than slapping the tires on. Have had zero issues on road and trails. Now that is interesting because I would absolutely think at stock you would rub and full compression... Maybe not as long as you did the high clearance kit....
All the forums said you couldn’t fit 35x12.5 on a stock gmc at4x too. I’ve been driving with them for a year now trimming or and mods zero issues. I don’t think all rigs are built the same but I stopped believing what I read regarding fitment and just measured and went for it.Nothing other than slapping the tires on. Have had zero issues on road and trails.
