Now that is pretty funny... and well... sad at the same time!I hear that you glide over almost everything when you don't have brakes.
I know right? It’s hard to think about those long term problems when I could save $0.69 right meow! You really need to upgrade from that locktite you've been getting from Temu, then you wouldn't have these problems.
Right up until that one pesky tire locks up.I hear that you glide over almost everything when you don't have brakes.
I use butter, altho I hear margarine is nearly as good.UHMW fully belly skids + portals = smooth sailing in rock gardens
I failed chemistry so I can’t appreciate that joke.I use butter, altho I hear margarine is nearly as good.
Brakes are for wimps and those who want to live.I hear that you glide over almost everything when you don't have brakes.
If you are on the skid plates, the tires shouldn't be a factor...Right up until that one pesky tire locks up.![]()
Racers don’t need brakesIf you are on the skid plates, the tires shouldn't be a factor...
I did hear that 74Weld is working on a brake delete kit to resolve the issue.
Maybe if you are racing in a miata... but anything heavier needs to brake before a corner...Racers don’t need brakes
Pretty sure that my miata needed both brakes and skid plates... LOLMaybe if you are racing in a miata... but anything heavier needs to brake before a corner...
Maybe that is why the miata is the most popular race car in the world... (True fact)
But now the Ford Bronco is the winningest race car in the world????? Do they need brakes?
hmmm?
Damn buddy!!! That looks like it could have been painful!Pretty sure that my miata needed both brakes and skid plates... LOL

after installing brakes.
yes, it's the same car (both post-accident - second picture was after repairs).
An axle-delete kit would really help with ground clearance. No more smashing pumpkins...If you are on the skid plates, the tires shouldn't be a factor...

Thanks. It's a 1999 10th anniversary edition (NB). I rolled it prior to drive train mods.Damn buddy!!! That looks like it could have been painful!
Beautiful car by the way....
Looks like an NC?
the NB... so about about 2400 lbs with 325 hp? Yea hot damn! Perfect front - rear balance? Man that would be a hot little car. Glad you were able to walk away! Thanks. It's a 1999 10th anniversary edition (NB). I rolled it prior to drive train mods.
By the time the second picture was taken, it had a built bottom end, 325 rwhp, 8500 rpm rev limit, and a 3.636 rear end. It ran 12.70's@117 MPH (2.2 second 60 ft), mostly because it would not hook up until I was 1/2 way down the track.
I got away with just barely a scratch thanks to the rollbar. Was upside down and thinking, "hot damn, it works."
