So this is bolt-on, but the drive shaft also needs replaced. I am guessing as the UD60 bolt-on also needs a drive shaft.

According to Currie's website, they show:
Driveshaft: The vehicle's factory driveshaft will be retained and reused with this Currie axle

What’s different about this and the one on Danas website already for sale?

It bugs me they don’t offer the stock 4.70 gears… Dana doesn’t either.
Yeah I’m not sure what they were thinking on the gear choices they are offering….i think 4.70,5.13 and 5.38 would be the best options unless someone was going with portals….also why keep the crappy factory driveshaft.

I'd like to see options for different track bar mounting locations, since I doubt anyone running this axle is running stock height. Then again, maybe they already baked in the geometry change assuming a 2-3" lift?

I don't believe you can get 4.7's in a Dana 60, only 4.88's which is under 4 % delta & should be ok on lose surfaces but may have the occasional drivetrain bind up 🤠

I'm guessing price

So you're saying you can run 4.7 in the front and 4.88 in the rear with only occasional binding on lose surfaces (e.g. not a road)? So if you wanted to continue to drive it normally, you'd have to upgrade the front axle to 4.88 too?

It wouldn't be ideal, but people have done it. You would get more drivetrain windup but wouldn't be an issue in sand or mud or 2wd.

Could you reduce the rear tire by 4% and it would even out?? (Saw that on MORR  ) So y'know, true 35's on front, 33.6 in the rear... Maybe starting a trend.
