It’s on the wrong side and I’ve never gotten this noise from one of those on the passenger side. But never say never and worth the check. However since he doesn’t off-road, I highly doubt it. Those seem to only break under heavy off-roading.
Some play there is normal. My 210 is doing the same thing. My M190 axle housing does not move as much but it still moves. Less noise from the 190 too.

Not your lower control arm. Those refuse to fail and is extremely rare if it has even happened yet.
I’ve seen knuckles break before the lower ball joint.
that definitely sounds metal clanging on metal which also rules out BJ.

I agree, the shop is milking every cent. But if they have to reclock the hose fittings, you would absolutely need to recharge nitro. But again, it’s super cheap and quick to do that…

Otherwise yes, the threads will fit. The boots however may not as they were designed for a 2.0 rack. The 3.0 rack is slightly bigger. Sometimes companies have enough tolerance to accommodate the 3.0 rack. Call them and ask.

Well the team killed it but unfortunately, we ended up not finishing on time this race. The course was brutal and a setback with a fuel system failure put us behind.
