My problem with the US market Ranger is the lack of a Tremor* and diesel option, and the discontinuation of the 6-foot bed. I just can't get anything done with the short 5-foot bed, whereas with the 6-foot I can make that work. I don't like the crew cab/5' bed configuration being forced upon me...
I doubt it. With the increased weight of an electric motor, inverter, battery and other peripherals, that increases the curb weight within the GCWR equation.
I personally don't like hybrids because you're carrying the weight of an internal combustion drivetrain PLUS the weight of an electric...
Stroppe isn't limited edition (alike Heritage Limited with just a 1,966 unit build). The Stroppe 2-door should have been a 1,966 unit run and then end it.
I don't think Ranger sales would be terribly affected. A Ranger can tow 7,500lb. However a Bronco only 3,500lb, due to the desire for enhanced articulation facilitated with soft coil springs. Surely the Bronco pickup will retain the rear coil spring suspension.

Do not underestimate the benefits of a deep aluminum oil pan (heat dissipation) and an extra 2 quarts of (Amsoil) oil.
I hope you filled with Amsoil. It handles heat vastly better than anyone else's fluid.
A 1972 book called "The Jeep" (By Keith Robertson) about a boy who discovered a Jeep in a barn, tinkered with and got it running, and later bid on and purchased it...
There's simply nothing "Desert Rising" about it. It actually looks like the Barbie and Ken edition. Talk about missing the mark.
A properly executed "Desert Rising" edition would be Desert Sand color and look, well, pretty darn good. The Jeep name Comanche would come to mind (I assume Jeep...
And yet......another waste of Ford's time, money and effort......creating a new trim that nobody asked for, a trim that both customers and dealers don't want.
This is as silly as the Free Wheeling appearance package, Bill Stroppe, RTR and Filson that most dealers refuse to order because nobody...
