  1. 2025 Broncos... 2-door going extinct?

In Virginia, you're right of course (though I own a 2-door Heritage Edition). But major Bronco dealer Kendall Ford sells "many" 2-door Broncos (or did, up until MY2025).
  2. 2025 Broncos... 2-door going extinct?

Humbly and respectfully speaking, I hope Bronco Brand Manager Jason Hyde takes note of your comment.
  3. 2025 Broncos... 2-door going extinct?

Unlike the spacious Bronco, the Wrangler is narrow and cramped inside. Hence 2-door Broncos are far more popular than the 2-door Wrangler. They really aren't comparable.
  4. 2025 Broncos... 2-door going extinct?

Given the breadth and depth of support that Bronco 6G members provide to the Ford Motor Company towards the sales success of the Bronco, I humbly and respectfully feel that Bronco Brand Manager Jason Hyde should open a thread and share what his intentions are for MY2025, what with the demise of...
  5. Ford to reduce Bronco production [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Or, if one desires not to wait, one can approach the most knowledgeable Bronco salesman in America at Kendall Ford and get an extremely fair price at any time throughout the year.
  6. Fast Intentions 2.3L Axle-Back Exhaust AVAILABLE NOW!

I stand corrected. I honestly missed the date.
  7. 2.3 ford performance tune and fuel octane?

I suspect one will only see a nominal performance benefit with 91 octane. With 93 octane, you'll feel a difference (full 300 hp) but many will agree that 93 is considerably more expensive to run over 87 (or 89 and 91). I was attempting to reach out to those members who have installed the...
  8. 2.3 ford performance tune and fuel octane?

Thank you for taking the time to write a very extensive and informative post. And a warm Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. While my background is commercial truck engineering, I do know much of what you are saying relating to gasoline engines. That said, I still suspect that Ford, in...
  9. Ford to reduce Bronco production [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Exactly. And let's be honest.....while Ford advertises heavily for the F-150 and Super-Duty, the Bronco to date is rarely advertised. That's the reason the vast majority of would-be customers (my non-scientific poll) only know Badlands and Outer Banks. They never hear of the other trim levels...
  10. 2.3 ford performance tune and fuel octane?

I'm guessing here...........thinking back to the days of 49-state and California emissions-tuned engines, and noting my 2.3s are 50-state engines...........I'm thinking that from a CYA perspective, Ford says to use "premium fuel" (91 or higher?) because running 87 and 89 octane would result in...
  11. Bronco battery confusion

I realize "that" story predates Bronco. However the issue described in F-150s has been linked to Bronco, thru MY2024. I'm not arguing with you, rather just sharing information.

  13. Bronco battery confusion

Understood. Thank you. I was able to glean the pre-wire layout from this video at 2:00.
  14. Bronco battery confusion

This well done video claims one needs to change the fuse box and ceiling wiring harness, in addition to adding the aux switch panel. Ford really makes it an expensive mod. I wish Ford Accessories offered a kit. Overhead Trim Panel: M2DZ-78519A70-JC (Includes 6 Aux Switches) A-Pillar Wire...
  15. Bronco battery confusion

I want to warmly thank everyone here for helping me to figure this out. The great members here are truly a fountain of knowledge. Just saying, I would like to add aux switches to my wife's Heritage, but my loose understanding is the wiring harness may not be there since it wasn't ordered with...
  16. Bronco battery confusion

Thank you! You are a gentleman and a scholar. I think JX6T-10655-AA is the old part number (2015-2023) for BAGM-48H6-760. Customers complained of short life. I'll be replacing the 760 with the 800 when it fails.
  17. Bronco battery confusion

Thank you, that's a thought. No, this Heritage does not have aux switches. I bought it off the lot for my wife so she doesn't need it. Of course had I ordered it, I would have spec'd that. Aux switches are standard on MY2025 Heritages.......will be interesting to see what battery my forthcoming...
  18. Bronco battery confusion

True. There was a time when US automakers listed standard (and optional) batteries with the CCA. Surely, Ford has technical specifications information.
  19. Bronco battery confusion

Everglades has the larger 800 amp. I can't locate the tag on the alternators (to confirm same or different) due to there being so many other parts crowding around it. The 800 amp battery looks like a higher quality product. The 760 amp is off-gassing. Acid fumes are clearly present.
  20. Bronco battery confusion

Heritage 02/24 Everglades 04/24 Both trucks call for alternator MB3Z-10346=Q........."2.3L with power inverter".
