Looking for a recommendation between the IAG heavy duty winch mount with an open road 12 k synthetic winch and the RC hidden winch mount which seems to have their winch included for $759. Not sure if the RC version is steel or synthetic. I want to go synthetic. I have a capable bumper and really trying to do the easiest install without having to make any major modifications and not reduce my clearance. Understand that some components will need to be relocated.

You can replace a steel cable with a synthetic rope...

I have a Warn Zeon 10 on my Jeep. I won't buy anything other than Warn.

I've got a '24 Black DIamond with a capable bumper, my issue with front mounted winches is I've replace my D-rings with a Blue Ox tow point so we can tow the Bronco behind our RV. We also have a TriPro front bumper camera up in front. Sorry for a potential hijack, but I'm interested in what Victorsen comes up with & uses...

I am not a fan of any of the bumper add on kits…I think a proper winch bumper with frame reinforcing is the proper way to mount a winch to a bronco…I was happy to get the plastic bumpers and replace them with proper aftermarket ones…but lots of folks get away with the kits…party on!

Anyone have experience installing and using an IAG with Badlands Apex 12k synthetic?
Thanks to OP Victorsen for thread.
Love to hear more from anyone.
This is my current plan.
IAG said Badlands Apex 12k syn should fit. All Warns do fit. Reseach says some trimming, spacers might be needed? We shall see.
I had ADD stealth on F150 but trying to save the $5000 in parts, relocation kits and labor this time.
Should be good enough for me. Only winch a Jeep or Ram maybe once year. Usually they are winching/pulling me. Group effort.
Thanks in advance. Will report anyt future findings.

Looks to be the same mount as the Buckle Up Off-road mount.
Originally I ran that with a 12k Badland Apex.
Had to trim 2 plastic trim pieces on the bumper.

I've been pretty pleased with my JCR mount + Superwinch 10k.

Only a couple pulls so far, but I also flat-tow it connecting to the d-ring holes.

A frame horn reinforcement is usually advised and something if I were doing it over, I would add just for peace-of-mind.

That RC winch is synthetic. Just a heads up most all winches with the S on the end will be synthetic. Obviously I would verify before purchasing, but just for when you're looking around and comparing.

Pretty much all of them are going to interfere with that I believe. Your best bet may be the "hidden" under bumper option like posted above.
I've been looking for the same type thing. While looking at options at SuperCel East 2026, this seemed like a great option.

It sat about right for my use but I haven't bought it yet.
I purchased that one a couple years ago and decided I really didn't like it half way through the install. It completely blocks the intercooler, and because it's in front of the bumper it just sticks out way too far and is a little goofy.
