Got some 35x12.5 R17 Toyo R/T Trails. Love em.
Rugged Terrain vs Mall Terrain. ROFL
Just kidding the GY's did well off road, just don't trust em for extended trips.
Yes. They actually balanced then put rings on. I asked they said its fine but they can do it either way. They also said they take rings off and put em on all the time, not just these wheels. Because they can get damage by tire machine. So good they had experiece with em. All good. now...
Ugh. Discount us removing them. Stripped at least one. Minor damage to one ring i don't mind cosmetic damage but will be tough to remove damaged ones next time. They left one ring on. So if its your first time. Review with shop. Best break em loose first time yourself, i think.
kool. OK so AWD makes sense for snow on pavement even rain. F150 could run slippery mode but had to turn it back to 2H. I assume you can run slipper mode and AWD. I'll try it next winter in mountains. Might be less wear and tear than running 4H all day in deesert too or constantly switching...
Yes I talked to ADD and they said just need to get 2 nuts and washers to replace plastic OEM nut bracket thingy. My mechanic said he can do it.
Went and looked at Badland 12k winch. loved the one I had but trying to get something lighter smaller maybe 10k cheap X bull. 300 bucks.
Great thread, good info. Thanks to all.
Convoluted dark marketing magic are ply ratings... LOL
I'm a E guy.
Our group doesn't require it, but highly recommends E rated or higher.

Anyone have experience installing and using an IAG with Badlands Apex 12k synthetic?
Thanks to OP Victorsen for thread.
Love to hear more from anyone.
This is my current plan.
IAG said Badlands Apex 12k syn should fit. All Warns do fit. Reseach says some trimming, spacers might be needed? We...
No words. Great job getting through safely. I was freaking out watching some of those sections. Yikes. Beutiful places. Thanks for sharing the experiene with us.
Got the old GoPro mounted and powered today. Good enough for now. For reviewing, learning, and sharing trail fun. Have second winshield mount to install next behind rearview out of my line of sight. But don't want to give up power, looking into USB mirror tap, Not sure if I have auto dim...
Valhalla, huge thanks for taking the time to reply. Lots of great experienced info.
I saw the crazy trails you ran in your posts before. Awesome stuff. Sometimes I forget how diverse and epic the trails are across the country (or world). We are all so freaking lucky.
