  1. 2021 2.3 Turbo failure 350 miles outside of warranty

DO you have the ability to take it to another shop that you trust?
  2. 2021 2.3 Turbo failure 350 miles outside of warranty

Good Lord, talk about poor customer relationship management....primarily since you said you've had the services done there. I'd roger on the comments that this would be the last time that dealership would see your Ford, and it's so unfortunate. Yeah, past the cutoff, but only by 350 miles, and...
  3. I was able to get another custom plate

    Maybe not as popular, but...
  4. Hidden winch and capable bumper

How is the RC winch operated...e.g., switch in vehicle, or on extension cable, or ??
  5. Wolfbox Wide-Angle Convex Side Mirrors (Pair) from $69.99. Extra Discount Code Included!

HOW the heck do you unplug the BSM connector?!? I've tried & tried but can't get it apart. It's for the blind spot light on the side view mirror. Got the Wolfbox beta for the curved mirror, but...this connector is kicking my backside ~ I can depress the "retaining clip" while spreading the...
  6. Sides View Mirror Blind Spot Connector...help!

HOW the heck do you unplug this connector?!? I've tried & tried but can't get it apart. It's for the blind spot light on the side view morror. Got the WOlfbox beta for the curved mirror, but...this is kicking my backside ~
  7. Moab Off-Roadeo BYOB -- will my Bronco do it

Same at Moab w/the pre-run inspection, air-down instructions and review of what to expect; presumably to limit what they'd potentially be liable for, but after running OffRodeo for 6+ years, they pretty much know in detail what the Sas lineup can handle and are allowing other trims in. They did...
  8. Front camera

Ditto the above about Wolfbox...for the TriPro version, which we have. You can switch between any individual camera, or see all three with a split screen rear view mirror.
  9. Moab Off-Roadeo BYOB -- will my Bronco do it

We have a 2024 Black Diamond, non-Sas, and just recently completed the BYOB in Moab.. So, we did remove our running boards, but I'd recommend you have/keep rock sliders and any skid plates (our stock plates & sliders worked fine). We did touch/scrape on the bottom, and had to winch about a foot...
  10. What upgrade would you do if ....

We have a 2024 2-dr Black Diamond, and I'd agree with Fordified1 on the rear locker. We had a 'zuki for almost 20 years, though, no lockers, although now, after going through the off-rodeo and the REAL capabilities of the Bronco, we've used the locker on a few occasions...it's mostly been...
  11. Winch recommendations for capable bumper

I've got a '24 Black DIamond with a capable bumper, my issue with front mounted winches is I've replace my D-rings with a Blue Ox tow point so we can tow the Bronco behind our RV. We also have a TriPro front bumper camera up in front. Sorry for a potential hijack, but I'm interested in what...
  12. Sedona locals

We're a definite maybe... ;-) We're in Prescott, and have contractors that will be by that weekend, specific date yet to be determined. When are you setting your schedule?
  13. Towing recommendations/solutions?

I just got the 7-way/4-way combo plug to mount by the hitch, no plugging tailights in. As I haven't towed yet and don't have plans to except when/if needed, I'm not concerned that only my trailer directionals wouldn't work.
  14. Towing recommendations/solutions?

I plugged the Curt unit that just plugs into the stock connector at the bumper and do NOT have a brake controller. The tail & running lights work fine, just not the directionals. For a rare/occasional light towing, this will work fine for me. Otherwise, the hitch is just another recovery...
  15. are there any black diamond stock owners out there?

We got a 2024 2-dr BD, very happy keeping up with all the '35's w/lift/SAS rigs going offroad to date. Yes, technically they're more capable, but I agree that the best "option" is a good spotter! We'll be going to Elephant Hill in UT where the confluence of the Green & CO rivers are next...
  16. Utah, sand hollow.

We had a ball there during United by Bronco a few weeks ago, lots of off-road trails with "special challenges". But I think our best discovery was the Bon Rue bakery in Hurricane, try their Kouign Amanns...!! Just awesome!
  17. Flat Tow Blue Ox Adapters for Modular Bumper Recovery Pts.

We used the Blue Ox BX2692 on our capable bumper...it's not an actual tow bar, but replaces the D-rings on the front of each frame member, then you use the twist-lock fittings when you attach your tow bar. My only feedback to Blue Ox was to have the loops for attaching the safety cables angle...
  18. Electronic issue at elevation

We have a 2024 Black Diamond and live near 6kft, no issues; including travelling from sea level to 10kft while off-roading.
  19. 7 Stupid Ford (EcoBoost) Engine Habits that are KILLING your Turbo

Nothing new here from a longer-term turbo operator perspective, although I'm surprised he didnt whine about the auto start-stop feature, I always turn that off when starting the car, part of my routine procedure. Coking on journal bearings is particularly bad, and idling your engine after...
