This was Steve from Accessory House Motorsports. Pearl actually ran the Rubicon 2X back to back with no issues.

Pearl was a Texas beer? The other one starts with a W or something, like a German name. I never remember the name. I think it's out of Fort Worth.

Hey guys,

Cole McMath here, Owner of Turn Offroad

I wanted to inform you all about an issue we recently experienced with one of our portal systems and explain what we’re doing about it.

After successfully completing the entire Rubicon Trail one of our customers noticed a humming noise and oil near one of the portals while driving home. After disassembling it, we found that the wheel flange had broken near the outer bearing.

(We've heavily wheeled and tested this product over the past year with no issues & four other Broncos equipped with Turn Offroad Portals completed this Rubicon trip without issue.)

We believe that this was an isolated incident caused by an unusually harsh accidental impact. Out of an abundance of caution we are developing a reinforcement update that will be provided to every current portal owner at no cost.

We’ll contact you directly with the parts and instructions as soon as it is ready. The portal will not need to be removed or drained to perform this service.

For this customer, we are covering the replacement portal, wheel, brake caliper and related work on the vehicle. We stand behind what we build, and we’ll make sure every one of our customers is taken care of.

You can watch the complete breakdown here:
