A while back i bought a mpvi3 / tune /ecu
Sat on it and never installed this.
Lo and behold, ecu no longer needed, so i moved forward.
Pulled latest ECU updates from FDRS to wipe out my whipple tune.
Pulled stock file, sent to tuner, tuner sends baseline tune..
Baseline tune loaded.
3rd gear log sent, Rev01 tune received.
Now this gets interesting, Rev01 tells me that my vehicle is unlicensed when trying to write.
Cool, emailed tuner, and a few days later , received rev02.
same issue, except the license issue pops right after loading vehicle writer
Tuner says email HPtuners, its their issue, Hptuners tells me the tune file has a different serial number.
Looking back at all baseline, rev01 and rev02, surely enough, FILE name is correct with my vin number, but inside vehicle writer, it shows a VIN that is NOT mine.
Looking for advice on what to do at the moment. I cannot flash anything, baseline, rev01 rev02 etc. loading my stock read shows checksum error now. I also cannot read the current tune because its locked, so that atleast indicates that the baseline tune loaded.
The file name has my correct vin. The vin: is way off for my bronco
