Lol most people do not get sent a file that's labeled with their vin number correctly, but has the wrong vin number, os and calibration inside the files.... Just hope the tuner replies soon, he was copied on all the pertinent hptuners emails, indicating that this happened because there was a mix up. Now the only resolution would be the seller puts 4 new credits on my device and build an actual baseline with my stock file, instead of someone else's....
I’m sure they’ll get it all straightened out for you. Can understand the frustration though.

Ducatis favorite... Lol. Everyone is human and mistakes do happen . I followed everything To the tee with the zfg tuning guide. Got stumped while zfg told me it should work. Hptuners dumped my my debug file and broke down the stock file, baseline, rev01 and rev02. Told me that none of the stuff in baseline to 02 match my stock file. That's why I can't flash anything new. I'm locked into a serial number that isn't mine, the tunes have the wrong vin number, so it'll never flash to anything new without new credits. No return to stock. No reflash of baseline. And I'm pretty sure I'm blocked from FDRs updates to return to stock . (I tried and saw no options for updates)
Hope to hear from you soon @ZFGracing
I already stated what I noticed 2 days ago and just pretty much waited for hptuners technical support to say the same thing. I seriously thought it was a hptuners issue, until they dumped my debug and my stock and tune files. August 14 with rev01 and 17th with rev02, I already told Adam that he had wrong vin numbers attached to the tune. Because I'm paying more attention since it won't flash without credits.

Once again hoping for a quick resolution @ZFGracing . I know it's busy with the big turbos and all.

blurred out the parts that were the same, but when hptuners sent this to me, everything made sense. Hopefully i'll hear back soon. My very first experience with hptuners, and their credit licensing system is unusual

I don’t mind the licensing. It’s nice that you can use the same device to tune multiple vehicles instead of having that device forever locked to a VIN. Don’t blame them for charging for it. Otherwise you’d have one guy making a killing tuning every car in town while HP is on the hook for keeping the system running and eventually losing their ass

Lol no mentions of that from hptuners, just a big reminder that the vin, os, and serial number are looked at when tuning. Nothing like we'll credit your device with credits 😞. That's all on the tuner now. I hope my ECU isn't bricked.

issue resolved. HPtuners is still a bit iffy reading, It Writes no problem, but the read files have checksum errors.

Yea stock file cannot be reopened... Or used

On the side note... I just discovered my exhaust mode selection was wiped.....
that makes no sense did they get their file type renamed or something?

Lol wished I could make sense or it. But when I originally pulled the stock file. It immediately says checksum error and this file won't be useable or something. Went through baseline tuning,. Had the credit issue, so I took the time to flash to stock with fdrs, tried to pull the stock file again same issue. Now running a new revision and I got a million pending codes lol . So much going on lol

following up, so my stock file is being "defined" by Hptuners, not having to change ecus is cool, but i guess not all ecus are being read properly. I fall into that category of ecu not being read properly.

hope no damage was done when i used the wrong tune on my vehicle, did a full 0-60 and 2x 3rd gear pulls.
did the math and i was at 7.83 seconds to 60 lol.
