They certainly do work with OEM hinges... that is initially what I was running. I discussed my concerns with Tyson about running a spacer, and pointed out that RTR does make a cool threaded bolt that goes into your OEM nut plates and then something can be bolted on top of that bolt because it has a threaded post. If I was going to keep my original hinges, I would definitely get the RTR adapters, and then I would run the hammer built hinge reinforcement plate that's made for the Raptor hinges and use the outer holes. That is just me...

Talk to Tyson at Hammer Built and tell him what you are wanting to do...he has a Raptor in the shop and can tell you what he found out about the flimsy Raptor reinforcement plate and why his setup is probably the best one out there right now. I believe the new Raptor hinge plate is also drilled with the original outer holes for the OEM style hinge but you'd have to confirm that with Tyson.

working on our own version of the RTR spacers so non raptor hinge guys can still run the HD bracket until they need to carry for weight and install the beefier hinge..

The original design has been Baja proven with dual 2 gallon rotopax, and a 37" tire. The HD bracket was conceived for the regular bronco owners who want to carry even more weight a 5 gallon jerry can and/or a spare tire platform rack with offroad boxes full of gear... It will also fit the Bronco raptor of course...

Ok I just received my hinges with the whole assembly glad I just read that I only need the hinges themselves. Now which part number is upper and which is lower?? 🤨

Congrats! You will see that when you match the hinge mounting holes that go on the pillar brackets...unbolt the 3 M8s from each one of the new ones, then make sure you trace your old ones before you remove them.

I believe the Ford tailgate table, says it's designed to hold something like 80lbs (?), so a sub should be no worries.

They arrive in black but it is a primer, not a top coat. I had mine sandblasted then powdercoated.
