Need Ford Help Dealer Recall Issue

Anyone here work for Ford Corporate and can guide me to someone at Ford about dealers not doing the 2026 Bronco Raptor Wire Harness Recall.

I have a 2026 Bronco Raptor and received in the mail the recall on the wire harness stating ”parts are available“. CallEd my dealer last week and after much confusion on there end they called back said they have the parts and scheduled a 9am Monday (today) service for the recall.

Dealer calls me back after having the truck for 4 hours saying they can’t and won’t do the recall as parts are not available and Fprd has not guided them on this recall for processing payments or sent parts . WTF? They’ve had my appointment scheduled for a week, check and said they have the parts…tape and conduit…. Now they say they have NO DIRECTION FROM FORD to perform the recall or the parts.

I picked up my Bronco Raptor and called to other dealers near me and they no nothing about this recall, don’t have parts and all 3 say just because Ford has a recall doesn’t mean they will fix it or have the parts for the recall. I reminded them I called and they checked and had the parts last week.

The recall requires dealers to obtain most of the parts locally. It’s not something they order from Ford necessarily. So until they get those parts locally, they can’t do it.

All the direction on how to get the parts is listed in the recall bulletin, so I’m not exactly sure what they’re talking about

It’s definitely not a Ford issue, it’s an issue with your dealership

I haven’t called Ford….is there a number to call about this issue? Ford needs to explain to the dealer the procedure to do the warranty and get processed….Dealers have no idea how to take care of this wire harness recall. Even though my Bronco Raptor is a 2026 with letter from Ford I can’t get the dealer to do the damn recall. This is a Ford issue for sure…it’s a mess, no one know what to do

OP clearly was not one of us who had to wait 3 years from Reservation to Delivery of our Broncos. Homeboy would have lost his shit.

I too would be a little disappointed with being scheduled, waiting for repair and then told parts weren’t available yet…BUT……Take a deep breath, just give them a little time. My service advisor said parts are being shipped out and expected sometime over the next 6 weeks. In the meantime make sure your fire extinguisher is charged

This is the exact reason why as an auto repair shop owner am hesitant to even think of a dealer “tech” touching my Raptor or any cars for that. I have the same recall and another received today about fender flares. Fk man ! They are not dumb. They just don’t have the “balls” to stand up and be proud of what they do and what they were trained to do. Lazy mocks! FORD TAKE SOME PRIDE IN NOT ONLY SELLING CARS BUT BACK UP YOUR SHT !

Don't worry about it because it affects very few just keep record of the visit so it if combusts you're covered.

Most dealers service advisors are idiots plus whole thing is a gong show with zero integrity or customer care for most part.
