Mines a Daily…..Ya it’s a little wider and taller than other Broncos, but I have not had any problems with parking anywhere. Just double check clearance signs at garages. I have found a few random road lanes that are a little narrower than most so need to be more aware of keeping it between the...
Getting it smooth for paint isn’t the problem with painting the MIC, it’s because if/when it cracks, the paint will crack too. Then it’s a shiny cracked MIC that the cracks really show and then the paint will fail near the cracks.
Ahhh come on…..too easy…you’re extremely grateful. Really, that’s what this forum should be as for the most part is, helping each other out!! Glad it worked for you!! I make it over to LA couple/few times a year, I’ll hit you up next time I’m heading over there. Shout out when you plan on...
I did something similar on my F-250 I had. Unfortunately I never took pics of it. I used some Nylon Cargo netting. I just flamed all of the ends that I cut to kill the possible unraveling and used my soldering iron to make the holes for mounting fasteners with flat washer. It will work, just...
Pretty normal. When I add or relieve some pressure my tire gauge always shows my 37psi but vehicle shows 1 or 2 tires 1-2 lbs higher. As BroncoChallenger stated above, I think the tire monitors may have a bit of variation also.
Ya…..I’m not 100% sure I’m recalling that info correctly, but I think I’m close, ya crazy it’s so expensive. I’m on my 2nd MIC and had in my mind that I would consider that upgrade too, but when I saw that post I figured the Linex route is what I will end up doing. Hopefully somebody else that...
Going off memory on this forum, I think it was said that the painted top alone is like 7 or 8 gs and it comes only primered then your looking at roughly another 3 grand or so to get it prepped and painted. I could be way off here but I think that’s what was said here before.
I’ve always owned a 4wd but I only use it when camping/ hunting and up in the snow in winter time. I’ve never taken any of my rigs out just to drive through mud bogs or to see how steep of a hill or how big of a rock trail I can get up. I use it when I need it and rather not chance beating it up...
MIC tops are notorious for cracking…..regular gloss black painted MIC will crack too. Linexed MIC top most likely will not crack. As “HalfmuleFarmer” said, why not just buy Bronco with OEM painted top? It is not simply a painted MIC top.
Aggravating…….I've been getting 4x4/powertrain fault about every 30 days like clockwork, only when starting engine….doesn’t go into limp mode or prevent goat modes, lockers or any other powertrain functions. Turn off engine and start it back up faults gone and doesn’t do it again for about...
Welcome Sir!! Nice Bronco…..Baker City native myself.
That picture sure makes me miss “Home”. This is a great forum for most any question and any recommendations you look for. Enjoy!!!!
Nice in depth write up……just wondering how the volume of the enclosure effects the sound? I would think it’s too small of an enclosure for the bigger speaker.
It’s possible maybe, but I’ve disconnected my battery more than a couple of times and it never affected my infotainment settings. I have had to do window reset procedure after reconnecting battery though
Now that you have everything reconnected and fault icon still there, I would try to disconnect negative battery terminal for 1/2 hour or so and reconnect to see if it might clear.
I’m guessing Filson brand carriers are very small shops…..must be, honestly I grew up camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, logging etc and I never heard of Filson until this Bronco edition. I’ll be waiting until they hit the dealers I guess.
