I guess that's better than you guys whipping it out and measuring with a ruler...It’s all I use (shell v-power) and I do believe I have the B6G lowest wear metal per 1k mile UOA at 1.6We can totally turn used oil analysis into a competition right? Seems legit.
A ruler? More like a yard stick. ok, more like a micrometer.I guess that's better than you guys whipping it out and measuring with a ruler...
Ford’s Ecoboosts love ethanol, which has an outsized positive effect on their ability to advance timing thus making more power/efficiency, particularly at high boost levels. Not sure how the Bronco would run on the 10% ethanol blend 93 in my area. I’ve always steered clear of ethanol if possible
You should reconsider. Ethanol is great, it supports significant power gains via both aggressive timing, evaporative cooling, more fuel (a richer mixture - even more evap cooling) and faster flame propagation.I do seek out stations that are 91 ethanol free gas.

I run an E25 blend normally ( mixing local 91 with E85)….
I don't understand the presumed significance of where the ad pack is administered.… amazing he is talking about ZDDP in today’s engines.

Once again the Oil Guy never actually talks about WHAT that special additives are …. Why?
Can Shell change the Top Tier standards and still be a Top Tier member?
