Improve Sasquatch handling

Compared to the variety of F-150 4x4 Supercab and/or long-bed pickup trucks I drove for 4+ decades prior to buying my new Badlands, to me driving a Bronco IS like driving a sports car! So yeah.

Some guys on this forum think their broncos drive like sports cars because they've never driven anything even remotely high performance.

I’m a new badlands Sasquatch owner, and trying to get used to how floaty this thing feels on the highway. Any advice on tightening up the performance? Thanks!

Just took delivery of my wife’s Outerbanks with Sasquatch two days ago… I say daily a combination of an XJ on 33’s, a Power Wagon and a Gladiator for the last 4 years. Problem solved, Bronco drives like a dream.

Those the GY MT's or RT's? I find the MT a fairly soft tire (probably because it's Load C and so light) anyways. I'd recommend long trips going to 39psi, but for me personally, the weather changes so quickly around here (north Texas) I'd rather deal with 32psi-43psi if it's around town but try to keep it around 35-38psi. But I don't sweat it too much unless it drops below 30psi. (I also have Maxxis Razr M/Ts Load E now, which are a bit stiff but again I'm not particular.)

Still the stock GY MTs. It is fairly soft, but like I said, felt far too hard for me at higher psi. Early on I ran them at 39 and did take some longer highway trips and they felt ok for that, but as a daily psi, it was way too high.

I can see it now … OP, newer to the forum and Bronco world decides to pose a simple question to the forum.

Comes back after a long weekend to all this:

- Getting slammed because how could he possibly expect a Bronco to handle like a minivan (no where did he state his expectations btw)

- Getting sold products by sponsors

- random conversation from the peanut gallery

Swap out for the HOSS 3.0 Foxes. Night and day difference. Don't have experience with aftermarket suspension, not sure if they would provide what you are looking for. Someone that has rode on the Bilsteins, the Foxes, and aftermarket would be the person you want info from. If not, go find some take off Foxes.

I'm impressed with all the feedback on this topic. My Bronco is a '22 Badlands Sasquatch with 36k miles. It is currently stock. My other cars are a Mustang (selling) and a Maverick (selling). My goals would be to improve handling at high speeds - not compete with the Mustang. I was thinking of possibly upgrading my suspension to either Hoss 3.0 or Eibach, etc, and possibly adding a sway bar.

Swap out for the HOSS 3.0 Foxes. Night and day difference. Don't have experience with aftermarket suspension, not sure if they would provide what you are looking for. Having swapped out my Bilsteins for the HOSS 3.0 Foxes I can attest to this.

It'll never be a 'high speed' vehicle... it's a rectangular brick on 35" tires.

Keep the mustang to go fast; it'll be cheaper in the long run, too - no mods necessary to blast along at 100 mph plus.

My Wildtrak feels rather good for a lifted body on frame with 35's and SRA. It absorbs cracks and bumps like a champ and does not wander vaguely around the lane I'm driving in like my previous Jeeps. We have/had Range Rovers, CTS-V, M3, Escalade's and Jaguars so I can appreciate differences but I have no complaints about how the Bronco SAS drives given what it can do.

Yesterday at 50 MPH idiot comes to stop in left lane had to hop the curbed height concrete median with two wheels at 50 to avoid .....was effortless with total stability in OBX with Hoss2 non SAS and 18s. Love it.

The best way to improve the ride, handling, and refinement of the Bronco is to get a Samurai and drive it when you start to think the Bronco isn’t good enough.
