I think this is probably what they're talking about. Does the BL come with a rear sway bar? 🤔
Non squatch, no. Sasquatch equipped, yes. Apparently the 0.5" height difference requires some anti roll amenities.

My 2024 factory Badlands Sasquatch handles exactly like my two cars…
I was being sarcastic about the handling being the same as my GT350 or the Cayman... but the initial steering input/body roll difference is huge compared to the cars. I have become used to the capabilities of the Bronco in the corners and quick steering response.
I honestly think Ford did a great job in making this Bronco handle quite well with a body on frame construction, and 35" light weight tires!
It is very predictable once you get used to its limits.
I love the thing!

I went from a WRX to a 2-door Wildtrak. I can’t push it like the WRX, but it handles pretty well. I have noticed that if I hit bumps at highway speeds, the ride gets a little unsettled right afterwards but I know what to expect so I’m ready for it. That could also be due to my shorter wheel base.

It’s the opposite of sinky ;)
I read that as "stinky" as first and I was like, man that's a funky kinda floaty he might want to get checked out. Too many onions, perhaps, and slow down on the natural fiber.

Speaking of which, anyone have someone rip a big fart in your new car before you did? That's a crime. Not a real one but jeezus it oughta be against some law somewhere.

My 2024 factory suspension Wildtrak with no front swaybar handles better than my wife’s 2024 Wildtrak with slightly modified suspension and no front swaybar.
I think this begs the question what do you mean by "slightly modified suspension"? Is there a triangulated anything in there? Handles what better? Starbucks kerbs or Moab steps?

My 23 stock BL handles great for a 5klbs very short bed pickup. I've never owned a car in my life , though (82 Ford F-250, 86 Ram Charger, 98 Chevy single cab short bed, 95 Jeep YJ, 2010 Chevy short bed single cab) so maybe I'm spoiled with jaw-jolting suspension and just don't know any better.

I have a 24 wildtrak 4 dr. I've found running a cold 40psi - 41 psi to be best for tracking and ride. Would not any harder.
I've run up to 43psi on the stock GY's and frankly, except for the exceptionally rippled and potholed roads around town, I dunno, it's fine. I'm not so delicate I run home and go down to 33psi. I do notice it at first, though, when the temps drop and the tires are below 35psi, but then again it's only fleeting and I adjust. There's some obsessives on 6g that pay this kind've of attention, but then again, they're enthusiasts. So, y'know.

I run 33-34 in my wildtrak and that seems to be the absolute sweet spot for tracking and ride quality. At I've run it all the way up to 40-41 and as low as 30 to test it out and anything above 35-36 feels like you're riding on rocks. That's just way too harsh and skittish of a ride.

I haven't chalk tested these tires yet, but I'm at 11k miles on them, only rotated them once and they're barely wearing at all, but wear is completely even. I'm definitely doing something right
Those the GY MT's or RT's? I find the MT a fairly soft tire (probably because it's Load C and so light) anyways. I'd recommend long trips going to 39psi, but for me personally, the weather changes so quickly around here (north Texas) I'd rather deal with 32psi-43psi if it's around town but try to keep it around 35-38psi. But I don't sweat it too much unless it drops below 30psi. (I also have Maxxis Razr M/Ts Load E now, which are a bit stiff but again I'm not particular.)

Buys off-road specific vehicle.
Complains about on-road performance.
🤦🏻‍♂️
It's a consumer vehicle, it's gonna happen. Either they grow into it or hate it and never stop complaining.

i liken the wildtrak V6 ride to a late 80's/90's jeep grand waggoner.

there's plenty of weight to the bronco but the body seems thin and light. the lightness of the wheels and tires they chose keep it nimble as well.

if you go for heavier tire/wheel combo and weigh it down with other things i'm sure you can ground it more, but it will be sluggish.

there's really no reason to have a V6 either

Actually - there’s no aftermarket triangulated anything anymore! As impressive as that system is, the way I packaged the sway bar arms next to the coilovers made it to where we couldn’t afford to have any lateral axle movement. Had to pull it and go with Vasher’s yoke/wishbone three link up top.

As far as handling-it handles the road better. And it’s not by a huge margin.

Interesting. But we are talking about the one you've hacked to pieces? (I say that half in jest, I just recall you made a lot of mods that were over my head.) The other is the one you haven't touched a lot yet, right? You would say they're fairly similar? I might be behind on where you are on these, so apologies.

Besides the big turbos, exhaust, tuning, @AIGMUX cell phone holder, and laptop mount-the other bronco is still stock. When it gets built it will be completely different than the portal bronco. Depending on tire to fender clearance we’re at 18” of travel up front and 22” of travel out back.

Ok, I thought that was the one you had reengineered. That travel is pretty crazy. I might have that same phone holder, if it's the one on the driver's door with a magnet? I didn't put it on because I was afraid my phone would fall out the window. I have so much Bronco crap I've bought and not used. This forum is to blame... lol

Yeah the one I did where we hacked apart the OEM towers and made our own to lower the ride height while increasing travel is her portal rig. She now has twelve inches of travel up front, limited by where the UCA’s tie in to the portals. Bump stopped it early to make certain the uniballs don’t break the aerospace portals.

The holder I went with clamps on to the phone. A couple of the navigation apps I need don’t have CarPlay, so the holder was necessary.

Yeah it was a dumb rookie move to get the magnet. I had one in my pickup for years and it worked well with a plate in the case, but it still fell if I hit ripples or whatever. It was also in the middle. When I got the one I bought I walked out and like immediately knew I screwed up. It's literally almost hanging out the window. What a dumbass. It was only $25-30 I guess. I'm not even sure I'd want to give it to someone, I'd feel guilty.
