I scanned the truck the other day. No codes. I was about to disconnect the battery but wanted to ride it out bc I read it can take 500 miles or so for the tranny to relearn. It still isn't back to the normal way it was but there has been a noticable improvement in the past 5-6 days. It still...
Oil changes are NOT upgrades.
Besides I've barely done a thing to this Bronco. AFE Intake. Some sliders. A roof rack. Phone mount. Skinny flares. It's so stock that it hurts my feelings every time I look at it.
I'll one-up you.
I don't buy it if it doesn't solve a problem OR create another problem.
Note: this is not Bronco-specific.
Can't add intakes without adding downpipes. Can't add downpipes without adding a full exhaust. Can't add that good stuff without adding a tune. And on and on it goes...
Dude was saying that people who name their bikes/trucks/cars won't push them hard, beat them up or be able to dump the bike in order to keep themselves safe. Sounds like somebody spends too much time inside of their own thoughts.
As for naming food...it doesn't matter to me. If the aninal...
Slow down maybe? A lifted Bronco on road tires is going to look silly.
I've had my Wildtrak for 2 years (OEM Goodyears) and drive gravel roads 2-3 times per week and don't have a scratch on it from rocks kicking up. I even dumped the stock flares for some narrower ones to get some tire poke...
Neither my truck nor the ford account shows that PCM update.
No codes shown on the account either. I had to pick up a new OBD reader anyway, so I'm going to scan the truck this afternoon. Then I'm going to pull the negaitve battery cable. Just been super busy and I'm working now, have a...
I checked yesterday and the only update I had recently is the one for the blank screen recall or whatever. 26S09. On 5/15/26
I had the window performance update on 5/11/26.
10.1.1. On 4/7 and 10.1.0 on 1/26.
I am assuming coincidence for sure. But I'm also a lifelong car guy, have done hundreds of oil changes and all sorts of maintenance and builds over the years. I'm not your typical dipshit customer. There were absolutely no issues with the way this thing drove prior to the oil change and an...
I hadn't either and I'm really thinking it fucked something up. Bronco was fine that morning. I changed my oil. Primed it. Started it up and let it run a minute. Shut it down and went inside. The next day I had to rin an errand and the shitty shifting was noticeable immediately
Looks like the Filson and the WT are neck and neck in a drag race, with the Raptor close behind (maybe?) Depending on the source, the 0-60 times vary dramatically.
The Raptor has almost 90 more hp and 25 more tq, but weighs 800 more lbs and is on 37s
This isn't about 0-60 times though and...
I know...I know... I prefer a manual too and almost every single one of my vehicles has been manual. That being said, I couldn't deal with the insanely sluggish 2.3 motor. The Wildtrak is the quickest of the Broncos and even that feels a bit snail-like to me based on the vehicles I've driven...
I'll check the status of all of my updates. I don't have a tune. Was going to tune, but I think I'm going to give this vehicle to my wife and move on to something else in a year.
