  1. Thoughts about my Bronco from a Jeep guy!

I always use premium fuel regardless. Lucky enough to have 93 here in NJ too. Maybe I'm just sensitive to the way my vehicles perform, but I have run about 5 tanks of regular through my Bronco. 2 intentionally, 1 that my wife filled up when she borrowed the Bronco one day and 2 that the idiot...
  2. Thoughts about my Bronco from a Jeep guy!

I was considering a 392 before I got my Wildtrak. I was considering a Braptor too. Even with my connections, the numbers just seemed absurd and really not worth it for what you get. How aggressively can you really drive the 392 anyway? I'd rather dump that cash into an absurdly fast and loud...
  3. Thoughts about my Bronco from a Jeep guy!

    @DALOLA for the win!
  4. Thoughts about my Bronco from a Jeep guy!

That's what West Coast Customs did all those years ago when they did a Wrangler for Shaq. They removed the front and rear seats and did custom seating at the right distance for him.
  5. Thoughts about my Bronco from a Jeep guy!

Welcome. Interesting takes... The 3.6 jeep motor is a literal steaming pile of garbage. The 2.0t runs circles around it in driveability. The jeep solid axle story is classic. 99.9% of jeeple never utilize their jeeps on terrain where a solid axle would benefit them. Yet, on road, the...
  6. Pulled a camper with my BadSas 2.3

There's a lot at play there. Engine design and cylinder firing order, turbo size, muffler/resonator size and placement, header diameter and length, exhaust pipe diameter, material and length. Unfortunately I've not heard a single exhaust system that sounds good on the Bronco (2.3 or 2.7)...
  7. Where Does Your Phone Usually End Up in Your Bronco? 📱

Glad you have a good sense of humor. I'm always a jackass but some people take it the wrong way. The internet is a strange place
  8. Where Does Your Phone Usually End Up in Your Bronco? 📱

Judging by your response, it seems as though the irreversible brain damage and shrinking of the genitals has already taken it's toll.
  9. Where Does Your Phone Usually End Up in Your Bronco? 📱

Do you buddy. Do you. I'll keep mine in a holder and rock out android auto if needed. I keep it on my desk in the office and on my coffee table at home.
  10. Bad keyless lock design?

I think Jim Morrison once sang a song called "Jeeple are strange" This post is a nice reminder of that classic tune
  11. Bad keyless lock design?

You can literally hear and feel the doors lock when you touch it. If your sense have deteriorated that much, I'm thinking you should maybe rely on the key fob like most other humans do. If your senses are that bad, maybe your driving privilege is something you and your family should be having a...
  12. Where Does Your Phone Usually End Up in Your Bronco? 📱

You shouldn't ever keep your phone in your pocket, especially for more than a few minutes. You should also always use speakerphone a never hold it to your head. These devices are not designed for prolonged contact with your body. They aren't old fashioned telephones, they're devices that put off...
  13. Is this your Bronco?

Ironically, my wiener's nickname is Rain and it's also 20"
  14. Pulled a camper with my BadSas 2.3

The bronco being quicker than that list of snails doesn't mean the bronco is not a dog. It's also faster than my bicycle, my nephew's skateboard and my kid's gecko.
  15. Pulled a camper with my BadSas 2.3

I know it's a toss-up with the MT vs V6 argument. I chose the wildtrak bc it was the only model that drives close to the way I wanted it to. The raptors are cool but heavy and loaded with an extra 800lbs. The Wildtrak has the 2.7 but it's auto. I would much prefer a stick but for me, that...
  16. Pulled a camper with my BadSas 2.3

Which is why any pre-electronic nanny Porsche is more fun to drive than newer ones. You sacrifice a bit of power for a lot more soul
  17. Pulled a camper with my BadSas 2.3

Sort of. Creeping along and watching paint dry isn't fun at all though, unless we're talking about driving an M1 Abrams. Steering feel and engagement, suspension performance, etc all play major roles in how fun a car is to drive. Many modern cars are blindingly fast and have no feel or soul...
  18. Pulled a camper with my BadSas 2.3

I have not driven the update 2.3, but unless I'm wrong the numbers haven't changed significantly. It's weird when people say "if I wanted fun I'd drive my sports car." The bronco isn't a sports car. I'm not saying it is or has to drive like one. But even my wildtrak or the raptor is still a...
  19. Pulled a camper with my BadSas 2.3

Honest question...what else do you drive? The 2.3 is an absolute dog. Not even a good dog. It's a freaking mutt, especially with the Sas package or any other lift and big tires. It rolls at a snail's pace and feels underpowered for the weight and size of the Bronco. I guess if you're comparing...
