I weas really wondering about the guard around the shovel that looks like you'd have to unbolt before you use it? Or maybe it's studded leather and slides over, like a kinky goth shovel condom or something? Not really sure what's going on with that
I have a folding shovel that I throw in the back sometimes. Another one of those things you won’t ever need unless you don’t have it hopefully. Actually used it when I had my fiasco in Colorado.
I usually just kick some dirt over my trail side fiascos and hope the dog doesn’t step in it before getting back in. This seems much more prudent.
It has no issues whatsoever on the beach!
What length jack is that? I think the thing a lot of people don't realize too that IMO you need the minimum 48" but really the 60" is ideal for all scenarios. Of course you can make due strapping axles and what not, but if you want a quick lift 60 def is the best tool. Also solid paint matchI’ve got mine mounted to the dedicated bracket that goes with the RTR Spare Tire Carrier - it puts the jack behind the spare tire tucked away. So now my pretty green farm jack can come on trips and generally sit their and rust as soon as humid air gets nearby.
Farm Jack also useful like a manual wench if you had to. Also +2 melee when used as a bludgeon
Yes, when we had to jack mine up using the front recovery hook location the 48” jack was all the way at the top before it was high enough and ideally could have been higher to drag the parts out from under the Bronco. But I doubt I would ever carry a 5’ long jack.What length jack is that? $189.00I only carry the jack when I'm offroad and always have the back seats down. So I use velcro straps and a zip tie to attach the jack to the child seat hooks. I figure if the hooks are good enough to hold kids in place it should work for the jackThe jack doesn't move at all. The zip tie in the middle keeps it from sliding to the side. You better be ready to drop some money on some real bumpers.. there is no lifting points on the bronco. I tried with my badlands HD modular bumper and rock rails and it is sketchy AF an I would not recommend. I guess you could use it horizontal orientation as a winch... attaching them to live on your rig 100% of the time, in my opinion is just for decoration. I have the ARB jack and I keep it off my rig and load it inside when I go somewhere I might need it.

Well it was either that or adding PPF to the shovel and traction boards. I'm still waiting on ArchTypeRacing to make a full billet shovel.
