No issues with my late '21 2 Door Hardtop...2 Door for the WIN! (AGAIN)
The OP's vehicle is also a 2 door. @2023bronco, who posted picture of their delaminating hardtop, is also a 2 door. As a fellow 2 door owner, we aren't immune to MIC failures. No issues with mine yet, but I do not have any expectations that it will last the life of the vehicle. I have snakeskin all over the place on mine, but since there aren't any visible cracks, and it actually seals well, I'm not taking a chance on getting a worse replacement via warranty.

That sucks. Crazy how thin the outer layer is and crazy how barely adhered it is to the next layer beneath it.

No let's get real here this guy just put his lift kit on at the nearest 4x4 shop and came home and didn't realize she wouldn't fit in the garage until he heard a loud crunch🤑🤑🤑🤪

Wow....that is the first time I have seen something like this. Its kinda of crazy.
Definitely not the last one. Ford better get a handle on this because now it's heading down the "Safety Issue" road.

Not to let Ford off the hook but curious as to the storage/climate where the issue may be more prevalent? Garaged vs not? Northern vs Southern? Hand washed vs Automatic wash?
Or from what I'm reading, just a flat out QC issue?

You nailed it, QC Issue, cheap product for high price. It wont be long before the out of warranty wave flows in...

I just had mine warrantied for cracks around the window. Purchased March of '23. I live in the Northeast. Never had the top off. It is not garaged. 9800 miles. Hand washed a dozen or so times.

Personally, I think they do not get the resin thick enough. That is why some have no issues.

totally agree....heres pics of my hacked up hardtop I used to build the half cab....Notice the inconsistent thicknesses of the bonding agent to the CARDBOARD.

I wonder if a guy can just remove the top, carefully remove with an xacto knife and a scraper for a proportional rectangular area, mask off, prep, then Rhino-paint it? Then, if that fails, go for other options... and get an aftermarket top that doesnt suck

There has been no rhyme or reason to the failures.

Several individuals with their tops stored in a climate controlled garage for a summer come back to cracks/delam. Others with theirs sitting outside in the heat of summer to the cold of winter with no issue.

(Sigh) My point here is that aftermarket tops are really, really expensive. An afternoon and a couple of cans of bedliner paint is cheap, and can't hurt anything by trying.
