Just hope the poor souls with delaminated hard tops who see this thread aren't slow.Kinda slow aren't ya , LMAO
Duck tape has a long established history of convertible top repairs. I see no reason hardtops would not benefit from its exceptional adhesive and aerodynamic properties. You could even get creative with the different colors and mimic an American Flag, LGBTXYz color pallet , camouflage etc.Just hope the poor souls with delaminated hard tops who see this thread aren't slow.
totally agree....heres pics of my hacked up hardtop I used to build the half cab....Notice the inconsistent thicknesses of the bonding agent to the CARDBOARD.

I just watched that video. Jeeeesus, lol.
my 1971 bronco steel hard top survived 22 years until 1993 when I succeeded at flipping the bronco over 3x doing 75mph. Wasn’t covered under the warranty though.Fortunately, ford was smart enough not to make the tops out of some sort of metal. Otherwise this would have been…oh wait never mind that would have prevented this and been smart.
If you would have stopped at two it probably would have been.my 1971 bronco steel hard top survived 22 years until 1993 when I succeeded at flipping the bronco over 3x doing 75mph. Wasn’t covered under the warranty though.
Thank you. I became religious after that one.If you would have stopped at two it probably would have been.
And, glad you made it.
Hard tops aren't going to just blow off. If a crack was that big it would have been flopping in the wind a long time.
