Hey Guys for those of you who have these protectors.....if you leave them on when you put back your hardtop does it raise the hardtop at all so it sits a hair higher than the middle hardtop panel? I just want to ensure I am not impacting the seal between the rear hardtop piece and the middle one.

That is the polar opposite of what customers would visualize "Desert Rising" to look like. That is more like "Strawberry Cheesecake Rising".

Oh for sure I would pay a portion of the cost to swap to the colour matched painted top. That is for certain. I can't believe Ford continues to use Webasto for the MIC tops because the issues are still present and I don't know if it is a design flaw or just crappy quality control on Webasto's...

"Remedy is not yet available" Ya no kidding. We're into 2026 and the same problems persist. The remedy is replacing the MIC tops with one of the two variants of the painted hardtops; either colour matched or gloss black. It's not rocket science Ford.

Ya I got that information from Brian at EZ4x4 that the newest kits all have the hardware to have the crank on the back or on the side.

My "go to's" are white and bright just for how easy they are to maintain. I love the way those two colours pop. I love black vehicles but always regret those purchases because they are so hard to keep looking clean and tough to wash and get dried before the water spotting starts.
