My 24' Badlands SAS 4dr on stock 35s averages 16.44 mpg over 10,354 miles.

Few rural roads, but mostly smaller city driving (35-50mph).

17.66 mpg was my best on a 244mi trip.
14.04 mpg was my worst on a 138 mi trip.

Sounds about right. I get around 15 around town, 18 on a long trip with favorable condtions.

I'm at 22.5 mpg with 33ish" Wrangler DuraTrac RT tires (2.3L, 7MT, 2DR). I run almost exclusively in Sport GOAT mode, with the ProCal 4 tune, K&N intake and a FlowMaster axleback. I'm thinking it's either the tires or gearing that is making such a big difference in your case.

I noticed a big drop when I added lift - moreso than the tires themselves

I'm about 20 miles from filling up to do data segment 1 to verify the fuel efficiency. Will see, but still looks to be around 19.5-20mpg highway with the 2 door after wheels and tires. Of course, need more trips. This one is 95% highway so far.

I get 13 MPG around inner city and 18 on highway keeping it under 70. Procal and 93 octane.

Fuel effeciency is not a term for Bronco......gas guzzler is.

Its actualy comedic that in 2026 withe a mere 330 HP ( albeit 430 ft lb) uses this much fuel.

Even my HPP Mustang convertible was 17 onner city but 27 on hihway top down.

I giess thats a 5000 lb brick for you.

How many miles per gallon are people typically getting? I didn’t buy it for its fuel efficiency but I see people posting anywhere from 20-30 MPG. I’ve had the Bronco since April 8th. I haven’t gotten anywhere near 20. The best was 16.8. I’ve tried normal and eco mode on different tanks of gas. I don’t drive it hard ever. Rarely any quick accelerations. Mostly drive it around town and not many highway miles. Just curious if it starts to get better gas mileage after driving it for a longer period of time.

23 badland with SAS and the 2.7 w/ford tune, running 93 i get 16s or so.

I have a 2 door and micky thompson baja boss tires, factory size.

driving is offroad, in town and in normal mode, but i drive spirited because its fun

While I was waiting for delivery, the salesman and I used to talk about mileage and trucks in general. We both agreed that it seems to be a law of nature that pickup trucks will get around 15 mpg no matter what engine they have. Seems the same law applies to Broncos.

My 1997 F350 4x4 7.3L diesel 4dr long bed gets 12, 12 on the hwy, 12 in the city, 12 empty, 12 with a 2 loaded 2 car trailer it just get 12. I definitely agree with your around 15 mpg.

Bronco Badland 2.3 7mt hardtop 19.7mpg still mostly stock.

It's best to compare like models and configurations- 2 door, 4 door, 2.3, 2.7, 3.0 too many variables to guess what you're driving.

I don't believe I've even seen 16mpg in a 4 door badlands 2.7 with SAS, I'm normally seeing 15.5

i was getting around 16.9 -17.1 mpg in my 2025 BadSquatch 4-DR, but that low torque in that 2.7 twin turbos can cause you to use it frequently..i'm down to 14.7-15.9..city driving..

Pretty common rigs here so should be useful information. The bovine bronco is on 38” tires with 5.38 gears, the 2.7, and 10 speed auto. Gets about 15.5 mpg. The mullet rig is on 40” tires with 6.17 gears, the 2.7, and 10 speed auto. It gets about 12. Hope this helps!

Running 91 for the last 9 mos., consistently averaging 22 mpg. I only do highway driving, due to living in a remote area.

My experience (2026 Badlands 4dr 2.3L manual) with mileage is that short trips with lots of stop/go where the drive train hasn't reached an optimal temp and you are idling at stops will be poor (~12-15mpg), but long trips without the stop/go where you are just driving at a constant speed will get much better (~20-24mpg).
