General rule is running higher octane will resultDo you note a significant increase in mileage with 91/93? Have you run your own comparisons or do you just run 91/93 by preference? I am used to the aerodynamic brick thing with my last serious 4x4 (Defender 110) so I know how t drive with that in mind. I do run 87 but only the good stuff (Shell chevron)
in better mileage (assuming you don’t drive differently, which is harder to do than it sounds)
But
You won’t get better enough mileage to make the difference in price worth it.
So don’t do it thinking you will save any money - do it for the performance bump.
