We need more convos about fitting Sasquatch tires on non Sasquatch broncos, 2.3 vs 2.7, 2 door vs 4 door. Did I miss any beat to death topics? OP had 4 different tire threads 🤣
Hey, I just had the shop put Sasquatch-size tires on my non-Sasquatch Badlands. MT Baja Boss 315/70R17s (load range E) on Method 708s. I didn't need load range E for Sierra granite, but I wanted extra durability for the desert and its often-sharp rocks.

Also had a 1.75" lift on Eibachs and Icon low-profile crash bars put on. Looks great and drives/rides just fine on pavement. I still need to put on Sasquatch flares to cover the tires, but in the meantime the poke looks cool.

My Bronco's in the garage for a bit for other reasons, but I'm looking forward to hitting the trail soon.

Skinny vs wide
I was going to go for the Baja Boss 255/85R17s, but decided in the end to get the wider tires. Winter traction and control in Sierra ice and snow (narrow) vs. sideways stability on loose rock (wide), among various other dilemmas.

ETA: Many thanks to the many people here who educated me on these and other topics!

I don’t really “need” a lift for 37s on my 2.3 non Sasquatch outer banks do I? Planning for rubicon soon, any tips?

I’m trading out my stock Sasquatch tires for bike tires … any tips?

Now this thread has compelling topics and news I can use! 😃
Thanks to all here!

Wait, are there any smart-ass ai tools out there? 🤔

real question for those who know:
My 2003 TRD manual advised me to use 4WD every so often each month to keep the gears lubed.
Does anyone know if these Broncos advise anything similar? Like, locking each diff or dropping the stab bar once in a while?

I dunno if it's good for the vehicle or not, but I find it's good for the soul.

Like Brian, the soul thing. All things that transmit power need rotating once in a while. Think of it this way. In any oil catch receptacle, from heat and friction varnish appears. That varnish deposits near things that doesn't move or rarely moves.

4wd for an afternoon a month will keep all healthy.

No one has asked what they need to do to fit 37s for at least 3 days now.
I get it, but also sometimes its handy to make your own thread on something specific so that all your relevant opinions needed are collected in one spot instead of being scattered shotted across many years and many threads of opinions. Then again, you can just ask ChatGPT or Claude to crawl the entirety of Bronco6G at once and bring all the relevant information to the front so one way or another some lazyness is being invoked.
