  1. 4A acting like 4H, binding while turning on dry pavement

Thank you for your replies to my question of 4A always indicating torque to the front, whether or not there actually is. last evening, over a glass of white grape/cran juice and a splash, or two, of vodka, I was pondering my remembering the corkscrew torque indicator not always showing power...
  2. Gas gauge

Yes. The Bronco is looking at the previous tank’s mileage to predict the mileage for the new tank of gas. When driving conditions give better MPG than the previous tank, the Bronco readjusts. I think. it fun to watch your range increase as you drive. others here, correct me if I’m wrong...
  3. 4A acting like 4H, binding while turning on dry pavement

I’ve a question about this. does the off-road info telling thing on the dash, the one that shows power distribution to the front or all four wheels, show real-world? My 4A seems to sometimes grab (trails) and sometimes does not (pavement), but the power distribution indicator always shows...
  4. Worst build thread EVER.

Was just snooping on one of the Jeep sister sites of this one, and there was a thread asking Why Don’t Jeep Drivers Wave Anymore? I didn’t open it. I just cut some more cheese.
  5. Oakland- new DIY garage space with vehicle lifts

Yeah, my mistake. I just saw that. Too fast of a read on my part. I like the idea of the garage! Better than crawling in the dirt of my cement floor under the Bronco. thanks! being stuck using the internet on a smalll cellphone sux
  6. Oakland- new DIY garage space with vehicle lifts

A building this size, and buying an aleady designed $$$ lift … Not my idea of DIY.
  7. Tired of the Sticker Blight on Trails??

Thank you all for your input. I’ll ponder the sociological behaviors of human groups, but I draw the line at toilet paper and beer cans. 🚽
  8. Tired of the Sticker Blight on Trails??

Is it just me, or is anyone else starting to see stickers plastered all over signs, guard rails, fence posts, etc. as ugly blight and graffiti? I don't want to see all this stuff people put there when I go out for some away-time from the graffiti and gang crap in the city.
  9. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Today’s adventure could be called, HOW THE 10 SPEED AUTOMATIC CAME THROUGH WHERE A MANUAL COULD NOT! or, I WENT TO THE FOOT DOCTOR. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Drove to the foot dr with a toe on my left foot busted into several pieces like a chicken bone hit with a wooden mallet. This, the first automatic...
  10. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

I’m starting to think I’ll need to bring a flake of alfalfa as a trail item in burro or wild horse areas! 😉 Great post with photos! p.s. a flake is a several inch thick slice from a bale.
  11. Good by Bronco

Huh? Anyone else find this year’s weather has been hard on home vegetable gardens? to vs. too by vs. bye c’mon trolls, smarten up!
  12. Introducing Ford AI Assistant in the Ford App 📱

I’m skeptical, but may end up trying it …. maybe by next year. It seems to me that ai “tools” just create more unnecessary tasks for users.
  13. Driving BLIND in heavy rain!

After reading what all-y’all wrote, I’m remembering the times I’ve been caught in a squall. Pulled over for 20 minutes into a parking lot until it cleared a bit. Any port in a storm, and all that. What?
  14. Question about loose (floppy) window

Aren’t there a couple adjustment points in the door for the window in addition to the two along the bottom of the door? I can’t find the earlier post, or the screenshot I took, of the locations and shop instructions for window adjustments. Of course 😖
  15. How Often Are You Guys Actually Hitting the Trails?

Almost once a month but only where I need to use at least 4hi at some point. Otherwise, I don’t count it. I’m having a problem: often, after working my way up a trail that made me glad I had this Bronco, I’ll get to a parking area or hiking trailhead and parked there will be a few Subarus...
  16. What Made You Fall in Love With Off-Roading?

1987, taking my Jeep XJ to places that would’ve taken 8 hours to hike into. 🌵 Edit: and I didn’t have to leave a car at a trailhead overnight by having to hike in! 😃
  17. Glove Box Damper Replacement MY25+

First; thank you, thank you, and thank you again for leaving the "en" out of "damper" ! 🙏 I see this mistake too much. A damper dissipates kinetic energy from a mechanical system, usually in the form of heat. A dampener just gets things wet. Second; naw ... I can live without this glovebox...
  18. .

I’ve done nothing different along blocker stuff. ‘Could be the 9-year old computer I have? Clearing trackers with McAfee (it sux, btw) always shows at least 200 Megs of crap. Thanks to all for suggestions! I need to post photos of the new Jimny I want to import! 🤔😉
  19. .

Instead of dry chalk, I prefer testing with something a little more like one finds on the trail. Something wet. I would do a mud test. 🤦🏻‍♂️ sorry, I’m cranky because my desktop won’t open this forum lately — something about lack of memory (the computer’s, as well as mine). has the site...
