Damnit, challenge expired. It's ok, because when I told the people at work that I needed them to crowd into to my car, I made the mistake of telling them why and they told me I was an idiot and refused.

I made a mount out of scrap from work, but basically any mounting solution should work. I like that I was able to mount the boards higher so they won't drag.

I think you're confusing people by using the term "recall." The alternator shield and replacement was a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin). Certain things can be fixed through their Customer Satisfaction program as well. Neither of those are recalls.
