Definitely not a good design. I live in FL but very rainy summers and high humidity they may not last either.

No. I live nowhere near salt of any kind and mine looked like ass after only 9 months. Is this a rust belt only issue?
No. I live in a high desert and while my reservoirs haven't fallen off, they all have discoloration around the reservoir like fluid is weeping out.Is this a rust belt only issue?
I wonder the same. Retain springs swap to 6100s? I feel like I read about the 6100s so much but still not certain of this answer. Are the 6100’s a direct replacement for a Sasquatch? I do not want to change the height.
I'd ditch the plastic and put a metal hose clamp around the shock and reservoirs. Both technically incorrect.
The black piece saying "BILSTEIN" is a plastic sleeve that covers the reservoir. Probably protects from small rock strikes but I bet it also traps moisture exacerbating the issue.
This is my '23 bought late July 2023. So only one MN winter on them, and I am religious about winter carwashes that spray the underbody off from salt and grime during the winter months.
Already rusting in the gap bewteen rezi and shock body. I spray some oil on them to try and prolong the inevitable.

I did say “besides visually looking terrible” I was referring to stuff like grinding, steering, etc..Are you ignoring the obvious of the missing reservoir?

Manual transmissions grinding, Bilstein shocks exploding, hard tops delaminating....Yeah, you can bet your ass my Hitachis will last forever!!!!
Didn't even have to pay extra for them!!
Unfortunately, the plan is to change out to some good ones with a lift whenever they wear out .....
Got none of those issues, all hail the Real BroncoManual transmissions grinding, Bilstein shocks exploding, hard tops delaminating....

6100s require Sasquatch springs. I believe the shocks are adjustable so you can maintain the same height. Are the 6100’s a direct replacement for a Sasquatch? I do not want to change the height.
Yes, they have 6 points of adjustability. They take your factory Sasquatch springs, so same spring rates. Are the 6100’s a direct replacement for a Sasquatch? I do not want to change the height.
What shocks does the non-Sas have?Got none of those issues, all hail the Real Bronco![]()
