Do you plan to keep the factory tie rods or are you going after market there as well?

And given the fact its using our factory rack components, I assume no programming is necessary like when they do this on non raptor broncos?

I assume you don't need any programming?

Because he is transferring all the electronics over from the old one, I would say no. Only if upgrading from a non Hoss 3.0 or 4.0 rack, where the electronics are different, would need programmed.

How did the original break? I've seen some hard wheeling on the factory rack with no issues.

A stunning and wonderfully engineered system BTW...

I am running RPGs steering kit. The factory tie rods were only on for the first 10 miles.

Yes the rack needs to be reinstalled in the computer.

so if you have a Braptor and switch to the 74weld rack .. you have to take the internals from your rack and transfer it to the 74weld rack.

Will this require any coding? It seems like your truck would see your rack so no coding necessary correct?

Yes the rack needs to be re installed on the computer.

interesting .. RPGs has beefy tie rods and it seems the next weak point is the rack which you proved

I spoke to 74weld today, currently looking at a June 1st release date. The rack will sell for $4900, but if you already have a Bronco Raptor you will be able to reuse your factory rack guts as you already have the HOSS 3.0 rack. They propose you send them your rack and have them swap your internals over and then they ship it back to you. They won't sell just a housing because the electronics removal and installation is a fairly technical procedure. Doing this route saves you $1900 off that price so the cost would only be 3K for the rack.
