Sorry to read about this. Grateful that everyone is OK. Normally, people say that material items can be replaced. But we know that the 2-dr 2.7L High/Lux Sasquatch just isn't easily replaced. Maybe you can find a MY'25 Stroppe sitting on a lot?

Sorry for your loss, we lost our 2-Door, VB, V6, BL last year. And yes, it is totaled.

Our rear frame got moved over 2", body shop was going to replace the frame (they actually had it on site), insurance jerked us around for a month before declaring it a "total loss". Hit was right in the left rear tow hook, zero body damage.

Glad you're OK, we were devastated with losing this Bronco, we waited 567 days for it!

Just thought about it, the whole time multiple cops, EMTs and Fire are processing the scene I'm standing there with an open carry pistol on my hip and not a word was said about it. Then the cop gave my wife and I a ride to the rental place in her cruiser.

Man I LOVE Arizona.
Open carry for the W!

Also not a big fan of the color scheme. Don't hate it, just not for me. I'm pretty sure I've seen a photo of a wrapped Stroppe that didn't look anything like a Stroppe. You also get the painted top, so that's a plus. As a 2dr 2.7 owner, I have run through this exact scenario in my head. Knock on wood. Glad y'all are safe.

Sorry to hear about your Bronco, but as others have said, glad that you both came out of it relatively unscathed. Good luck with the insurance process.

Always just turn it in to your own insurance, even when the other person has insurance & give you their info.
They'll pay you then fight for their money from the other company.
That's what you pay them for.
Only thing is you have to pay your deductible, which should be refunded after they get paid in full.

That's been my experience. Years ago someone backed into my Subaru. Their insurance insisted that I go to a shop on their list or accept a check for around $1600. My preferred body shop wanted $2300 (to do it right without cutting corners) which the other insurance refused to pay. So I turned it into my insurance and paid my deductible. My insurance paid my body shop minus the deductable, later I recieved a check for my deductable.

Side note: My preferred body shop has a sign "We're not affiliated with any insurance company, you're our customer, not them."

Glad everyone is OK.
But then I have to search for a replacement 2 door V6.
OMG, that is my worst nightmare. I don't know what to wish for you.

Please out the insurance company that “jerked you around” so we can avoid.
I’ll add them to the list right under Allstate.

Geico, as stated above, go with your own company. The at fault driver (Geico) was underinsured which made the whole thing a mess. We have Progressive which was a pain as well, pretty sure they all suck. Their job is to suck as much money out of you as possible with the least out of their pocket possible.

Bronco was transferred to the Body Shop today. They said they would let me know what's up next week.

I think it depends on the situation and phase of the moon.

A woman (insured by Geico) ran a stop sign and hit our 2007 F350 around 15 years ago. Gieco paid up promptly. In fact they paid too much.

The adjuster missed a lot of things and had to make a return trip (60 miles each way) and was pissed about it. So checked everything as bad and grossly inflated the estimate. Myself and two body shops tried to explain that to the insurance company rep but they insisted on standing behind their appraiser.

So truck was totaled with a payout of $32K. I kept the truck and thus was given $26K. Body shop fixed it good as new for $16K and I pocketed the extra $10K. We still drive the F350 to this day.

I went to swap the rental (Genesis G70) for a more appropriate vehicle for the 10 miles of dirt to our place and had to straighten out a towing issue before Bronco could be transferred to body shop.

The manager at Enterprise offered to give me a huge Mercedes SUV (for the $50/day the insurance is paying) and I almost took it. But then thought better as it had California plates (a cop magnet out here) and WAY more tech then I wanted to learn for a short term rental. So I got a Kia Kona instead.
