The 6100s are adjustable based on a clip setting. I think Bilstein only recommends the lowest clip setting for the 2-dr. The Ford Performance Bilstein shocks are non-adjustable 6100s. But they are tuned specifically for either a 2-dr or 4-dr application.
50k is typical. I would say it is...
Now, I hope the dealer is generous in their assessment and covers it under warranty. But my advice is to take the opportunity and upgrade the rear shocks at a minimum. Get a 2.5" thick mono-tube shock like the 6100s. You won't have reservoirs falling off.
Or you can KISS and stick with a honking thick mono-tube shock without any of the gimmicky reservoirs.
You posted the warranty info earlier. Read it again. Ford doesn't warranty against rust.
As expected. They are junk. Ford doesn't warranty rust. Live where the roads are treated with brine solution and owners should expect these to continue to fail.
The FP Bilstein coilovers are tuned with only the 2 vs 4 dr consideration. There is no need to upgrade the UCAs. I have found the rear trackbar relocation bracket was beneficial, though not necessary.
Different owners have experienced varying lift heights depending on their build. For...
Those reservoirs are going to continue being a problem. Might as well have them inspect the others. But I would take the opportunity to upgrade at a minimum both rear shocks.
You could try and market them towards someone who is trading in a Bronco where the trade values are less than what a seller wants. They could strip their Bronco of the desirable parts and bolt on the Hitachi HOSS 1.0 shocks.
Just for clarity, some new posters throw around the term Sasquatch when in fact the parts aren't. Does your friend have a Badlands with the Sasquatch package or just a Badlands? Are they offering the Badlands Optional Beadlock capable wheel (pictured below)?
Or are do they have the...
You match regarding his takeoff suspension. $1000 for all is a good deal.
EDIT: Just noticed that earlier he had the Sasquatch package. But in the quoted post, you indicate that he only has a Badlands. Suspension is fine. But what wheels/tires is he offering?
The "eyebrow" is the top of the windshield. You can ask Chris (owner of @StickerFab ), but I think the OEM rear tint is approx. 30%.
The stock OEM steps sit lower than they need to be exposing the pinch weld seam which is unsightly. Keeping the OEM steps and adding a spacer as illustrated...
Congrats. Need to tint the front windows. When you do so, the B Pillar will stand out with it's dull finish. There are overlays that are gloss black (I think StickerFab might sell them, but definitely available on Amazon.) which will lend to visual continuity between front/back windows...
Maybe in the gift shop? I read @BMC Bill post that it was the token gift for attending. Hoping to attend the NH location so maybe they will have different merchandise unique to their location.
