Who’s Annie, and does your wife know?šŸ˜†
  2. Moab ‘26 trip

I’m not sure what your tires are, but no lift is needed if you have a standard Badlands or equivalent tire setup. I’ve done those and Top of the World, though TotW will scrape the skid plates in a few places unless you are very particular about your lines and obstacles. I kinda plowed through. šŸ˜†
  3. Moab ‘26 trip

Probably best to avoid Chicken Corners with them. šŸ˜†
  4. Raise Rear View Mirror - SOLUTION: Mirror Riser

I can’t figure out the visor thing. We didn’t have the visors hit the mirror at first—went months and never noticed an issue. Then it seemed both my wife and I noticed the driver’s side visor would just hit the mirror when folded down, even though we each use a different mirror position. Then...
  5. 2 Dr, 2.3L, Manual, is this the best Ford Bronco configuration? Full off-road test!

The next time you’re driving her car, adjust the ACC distance to the shortest follow setting. If that’s still not enough for your ā€œabout to passā€ moments, just apply a little bit of acceleration and you’ll override ACC for your pass. ACC has become one of my ā€œhave to haveā€ features.
  6. šŸ”„ NEW PRODUCT RELEASE! šŸ”„ IAG Off-Road Beadlock-Style Engine Cap Kits Are HERE!

This could have been a great reply to ā€œWhat do you want for Father’s Dayā€ if only it was available in a less-expensive standard plastic form. They look nice and have a slight benefit of being easy to identify, but aren’t filling a need.
  7. My Bronco Raptor Fire Total Loss Experience

I don't. If he had, he'd be driving an older fire-damaged-and-repaired Bronco instead of a new one. :D Seriously, though, I would not purchase a fire extinguisher with the expectation of being able to put out a fire under the hood. I'm not sticking my hand under the hood to release the latch...
  8. My Bronco Raptor Fire Total Loss Experience

Make sure your insurance company clears everything so there's not even a record of filing a claim in the CLUE database, even if that record shows no payout, you never know how that would be considered in determining rates.
  9. Ford Recall 26S30 -- Loose Front Seat Bolts in 2024-2026 Bronco

Had mine checked today, too. No issue. So far, none of the recalls issued for my vehicle have affected it. It's a shame there have been so many, because it tarnishes others' perception of what's been a great vehicle for me.
  10. Seeing is Believing - How the Ford Bronco Is Made

Also, I think I saw in the video the guy responsible for the seat bolt recall! 😁
  11. Seeing is Believing - How the Ford Bronco Is Made

Entertaining video, but I'm not sure I would call the Bronco "massive."
  12. How far did you travel to pick up your Bronco ?

Waiting for the guy to say he lives in an apartment above the dealership to chime in. :D
  13. Ford Recall 26S30 -- Loose Front Seat Bolts in 2024-2026 Bronco

Anecdotally, (and knock on wood), I’ve yet to experience any issue of the recalls on my Bronco. šŸ™‚ I think there have been five. This seat bolt one didn’t checked correctly, so I guess it still could need a fix. Also, luckily for me, I haven’t had any bad ones like the valve issue or (I guess...
  14. DIY custom battery mount Ecoflow Trail 300

I’m curious what the fabrication cost was. I’d be worried that my kind of off-roading could send the battery into the side window. šŸ™ I’m still in the ā€œthinking about itā€ stage of a battery purchase, but one thought was how I would secure it—things have been known to get airborne in my cargo area! šŸ˜†
  15. Ford Recall 26S30 -- Loose Front Seat Bolts in 2024-2026 Bronco

They're all visible. For example, on my vehicle:
  16. How far did you travel to pick up your Bronco ?

    Shortest. Trip. Ever. šŸ™‚
  17. How far did you travel to pick up your Bronco ?

Granger, IA to Salt Lake City. We made a road trip of the drive home: 5 days, 4 people in a 2-door, and we all managed fine. I spent time in the back to see what it would be like and was surprised there is decent room. Of course, we had to stop at Badlands NP since that is our model (and Mt...
  18. Ford Recall 26S30 -- Loose Front Seat Bolts in 2024-2026 Bronco

I brought mine in for service and to do whatever recalls were open (I listed them on the appointment) and it appears it didn’t get done because my invoice had a cryptic note from the tech about not knowing what needed to be done. I’m waiting for the shock parts they ordered, so I’ll try again...
