Is anything caught between the disk rotors and pads? I'd blow them out with compressed air.

I have same issue at 22K miles. Took it to the squealership and they said small amounts of condensation builds up over night on rotors, leading to fine film of "rust particles" and dust. In morning, that layer gets burnt off while brakes applied causing squeeks.... what!? WTF?

Am I driving some experimental NASA shuttle? I just want the squeaking to stop. I paid my first born for this vehicle and it squeaks at 22K? Oh boy!

Mine made some type of brake noise for at least the first 5k , then it went away as I figured it would.

It's not surprising that it happens, all things considered.

Now, if it is grinding or screeching like somebody's POS 2003 clapped out hoop-tee, take it back, change dealers , etc.
Just because one refuses the task does not mean they all will.

Last I knew, the service dept.s usually cannot see if you've been cheating with other dealers.

There are guide pins that need to be lubed. Just had my Bronco in for recall work and had them check the brakes as it is still under warranty. Mine were squealing early in the day every day. The tech sent me a video explaining the issue and what was done.

How about pull your wheels off and inspect your breaks, they are likely the most basic and easiest part to maintain yourself.
if you find an actual problem report back.

Mine did every morning until I hit them at the first stop sign -- just like the dealer for one of the posters said - a bit of rust buildup on the rotors. Once you hit it the first time and knock the rust off, it was fine.

Haven't heard it since I upgraded to PowerStops though.

You can grease the ends of the break pads and reinsert into the caliper. Might help the noise, but you are basically doing a break job without changing the pads.

Breaking news.....Ford brakes have been garbage for 30 years.

I'd get a good aftermarket rotor and pad set.

Something else that helps with squealing brakes is, in addition to lubricating the pins and sliders, I always paint on a thin layer of brake lubricant on the back of each pad. I've been doing it for decades and have never had squealing brakes. I use Permatex Ceramic Silicone Brake Lubricant.

Mine have always made a subtle squeal on light braking - almost like the wear indicator sound but at 40% loudness. I always check my pad and rotor condition when rotating my tires, still got plenty of meat on them! I just have noisy pads from the factory.
