Great news, have my 2022 Bronco Badlands High Sasquatch package in Carbonized Grey back with a new 2.3 after only 262 Miles.

Waldorf Ford bent over backwards for me.

Thank you Donald from.new car sales and Aaron from service!!! You guys mad the situation bearable. Thank you to the tech that I mes but did not get your name..... you guys were awesome!!

No sense getting mad, just a freak thing, not Ford's fault, not the dealerships fault.... amazing when you accept the shit that happens as shit that happens instead of finding someone to blame or yell at, how much smoother your situation will be resolved. The people at the dealerships are just trying to help everyone but the weight can get heavy and they stop caring.... show them you know it was not their fault, stop swearing at them and accept they can not change the situation instantly.... find out how great the peoe at your dealership really are.... a little respect goes a long way!!

Thank You Waldorf Ford... my situation was not your fault but you took it on like it was your fault and treated me like gold..... you exemplify customer service and what Ford is all about!!!

blown 2.3? when did this happen? how long was your Bronco out of commission for? Any lessons learned to speed up the fix if this happens to anyone else? (besides of course your suggestion to be courteous to the dealership)

So what was the final blown engine cause/diagnosis?

The engine didn't blow, I got an alert that I had a misfire (which I already knew, happened as I was on an acceleration ramp merging onto the highway). No bad noises, just a misfire. Turns out the grounding electrode broke off and tore up the cylinder. Just a freak thing. Due to only having 262 miles Ford authorized a new motor instead of a rebuild.

Out of commission for 2 weeks. The stars aligned with my situation, great people , great dealership and quick response from Ford.

Glad to hear it was quickly diagnosed, and hopefully it's a quick turn around for you. Several of the folks with the blown 2.7s are negotiating for upgraded extended warranties with their new motors - 84 Month/100K Powertrain, just thought I would give you a heads up.
