I've had both, they are essentially the same main "lighting" unit, just different surrounds.
The biggest difference i noticed was how bright the dang turn signal is on the Signature lights!!! That shi-stuff reflected off of everything around!
I believe the headlights might be very finicky...
I will as fall gets closer. A couple more months.
The Toyos, I ran around 30/32 in the summer, in the winter I was pushing 28 trying to get them to grip.
I eventually gave up on them and went back to the factory 30" Bridgestones. Much safer in every condition.
What really attracts me to the...
Absolutely, 100% this.
If there is an injury, contact an attorney ASAP.
I've never wanted to be that "sue everybody" Chad/Karen type, but having just gone through a moderate wreck that had an injury and totaled our vehicle ... the insurance companies will try to hose you one way or another...
I believe the new ones cover the pinch weld.
Metal-tech's are built for the folks that will actually offroad their rigs. They are essentially bomb proof.
I suspect that they prefer you have them locally powder coated, so that if/when (when, because it certainly will) the PC fails, you can bitch...
6th , 4.46 gears and 35" tires ... at that point it is very overdriven set up.
Just to hold hiway speed, the motor would have to go into boost which SLAYS fuel mileage ..... ECO or Boost , pick one.
Using 6th gear and 30" tires is very nearly the same effective final drive ratio as 5th and...
Congrats!!! Be sure to keep us updated as it works it's way through the process.
At first, the manual/4.46 & 30" tires seems like it is geared too deeply.
Once you learn that the 2.3 LOVES to rev, you'll get used to stretching the gear shifts out.
I jumped from the factory 30's to 35's and...
Having read thru all the responses thus far, the above is certainly one of the best.
So , just for playing around, go to this site
( https://tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator/ ) and start playing around with the inputs, amount of offset, tire widths etc etc .
It will give you a pretty good...
I recognized the name while at an auction. Picked up probably their largest duffle and a full size garment bag for about $20. They were piled in with a bunch of otherwise junk stuff, sold as a lot .
Looked up the going rate for those pieces and thought the same as you... "Holy (fudge)" !
Their...
Similar story ... the bridgestones that came from the factory on my Base (16" , unsure of the exact tire model ) have been great year 'rounders. They stick in the rain, do OK in the snow ... the gravel roads I get on, all tires end up throwing stones, so I don't know what to tell you about that...
I mean , at this point, a fiberglass top that lasts DECADES, like they made in the 70's, 80's & 90's would be fine also.
Somehow they forgot what works ... like the rattle free, frameless side windows.
There should be an edit button at the bottom of your post.
Once you correct it, delete the other post.
Looks GREAT by the way!!!
I've half a notion to get the same finish/color wheels on my AMB 2DR.
But I also like the way the Titanium Metjods match the MIC hard top.
That's shocking to read.
Which Baja Bosses?
From everything I've read, the AT'S have been getting stellar reviews EVERYWHERE, professional testers and average Joe's alike.
Same guy has a comparo between mickey t , nokian and several other AT's last winter.
Mickey T''s were an excellent tire.
I'm a bit disappointed he didn't run the same group through this test from winters test.
edit: LOL, what this guy said ^^^^^ long hoses get the job done!
---------------------------------------
I just use a large shop vac and a few hoses linked together. Maybe 10/15 ft worth.
The long hose has been the greatest benefit. I can leave the vac on one side of the car, leave the hose...
