You're changing the oil pan plug every time you change your oil?

Ford says not to. If I take it to Big O they claim it's mandatory. Walmart just does what I tell them to.

I went with the Ronin oil plug, mostly due to not having 6qts of oil come at you at once with the OEM one. It is pricey, but it's high grade aluminum and you can vary the flow, take samples if needed, etc.

I’m planning on doing this, trying to catch the oil when using the OEM plug is a pain.

Wal-mart tends to get it done in 45 minutes. Had the garbage dealership by me take 5 hours when I had an appointment.

Get the Ronin plug - just installed and well worth it. Hook up the tube and never spill a drop of oil.
