The top part of your listing is wrong and does not match the website. The 2.3 does not have the newer plastic style plug. It threads in like most normal oil pan drains. UPR doesn't make anything like that.

I know I have them on our 2.7's and very happy with them

Regardless of what it says, it does not work with the 2.3. The 2.3 is a typical threaded drain plug M12-1.75. The Quick Twist Valve with Stainless Drain Tube Knob or Fumoto valve are both great options.

Does this fitment work when reinstalling the skid-plate?
Yes! I have the factory Badlands skid plate and the Fumoto valve has the ability to swivel before you tighten it down. So, I angled it a bit, but that's only because I leave the Tygon 7/16" ID tubing zip-tied with the length resting on top of the skid plate. 👍
