So is it possible to have the Bronco upshift less at cruising speeds as mine has likes to lug the engine a bit to where I have to downshift once due to heavier bigger tires?

Yes we can change shift points and schedule to your liking. Just takes some tinkering and why we do 100% custom tuning as everyones needs are different!

We can turn Auto Start Stop off with the Tune!
Well dang it, I’ll start saving then. I currently have the Ford Performance tune. I dyno’d it awhile back and got about 265 WHP.

As an off-roader, my goal though isn’t max HP. I want better transmission mapping, lower end HP and TQ, less turbo lag, etc.

Turbo boost lag is real when rock crawling. Gas, gas, gas adding a bit more and more until it “goes” and then I shoot over the obstacle. I want to get rid of that. ProCal tune helped but it’s still there and I notice it mainly on the rubicon.

Sure high HP is what most people base a tune off of. But not me, I want performance in the rocks and dunes. Not drag race results.

Found my old dyno sheet. 2.3 auto on stock 35’s. 4.7 gears
Max after tune was 257hp (4,920 rpm) and 307 tq. (2,830 rpm)

Stock numbers were 237 hp (5140 rpm) and 271 tq (3860 rpm)

Thanks for posting. I don't believe I've seen Dyno numbers for the FP tune before. That was on 93?

If so, that indicates that it's not really getting the extra torque and horsepower that Ford claims over the stock tune

You might be getting the numbers at the crank. But the big difference is the mapping and how much quicker the torque and power comes on vs stock.

Ford claims 55 per pounds of torque and 30 horsepower at the crank, but even given conversion your numbers are shy of that by a bit. That's with 93 however, you don't get that with 91.

My butt dyno has been satisfied with the torque gain in the 2500 to 4k range, and I never thought I was actually getting 30 more HP out of the tune...

FYI: it’s allowing me to purchase it for 2025.

Can you explain the differences between the fuel options? If you choose 93 and are traveling somewhere that only has 91 - how does that affect drivability?

What are the benefits/downsides of an E30 tune?

Been reading, you should be able to adjust the automatic transmission skip shifts, sport mode and add the pop crackle tune. Your extremely fair on on pricing for what's being offered.

I am very much on the fence between paying you for a tune vs getting back into it myself.

@Caleb@PandaMotorworks What is the differences between the Cobb and HP Tuner? Monitoring, logging, etc
The company. So basically, just how they present their device. The HP Tuner mates up thru BT with your phone or Laptop. I think the CObb one is a screen style, i.e., a Ford Procal style, where you can see things on the screen.

I have not used a Cobb device before, but by their layout, it seems logical.
